Egg carton and formation apparatus and method
An egg carton and method and apparatus for forming an egg carton. A main body of the egg carton may be made of a single sheet of material and folded or otherwise bent to form the majority of the carton's interior space. Partition walls may be engaged with slots formed in the main body to define separate storage areas of the interior space as well as help hold the main body in the desired configuration. Hooks on the sides of the partition walls may engage with openings in the main body to secure the main body to the partition walls.
MOLD AND METHOD FOR MOLD FORMING PRODUCTS
The invention relates to a mold, comprising at least one mold cavity defined by at least a mold wall, wherein at least one part of said wall is a porous part, wherein the at least one porous part is formed by or comprises a porous insert inserted into an opening extending into and preferably through said wall
EGG CARTON WITH LUGLESS DENEST-FEATURE AND RELATED METHODS
An egg carton may include a lid having first and second opposing longitudinal sides, first and second opposing ends, a major surface, and first and second denest-features respectively near the first and second opposing ends. Each denest-feature may have an upper wall extending from the major surface, an outward flange being parallel to the major surface, and a curved surface extending from the upper wall to the outward flange. The egg carton may include a base having first and second opposing longitudinal sides, first and second opposing ends, and lower egg receptacles for receiving corresponding eggs, and a hinge strip coupled between the lid and the base and configured to permit the lid to fold between a closed position and an open position.
EGG PACK PRODUCED BY PLASTICS INJECTION MOULDING
An injection molded egg pack has a lower part, with egg holders in an interior, and a lid, integrally formed via a hinge strip and having an at least partially planar lid wall. A releasable closed position of the lid is achieved by lid-fastening means engaging in fastening means of the lower part and a periphery of the lower part engaging in a lid periphery. The lid can be swung in a reproducibly simple manner onto the lower part. This is achieved in that at least one latch-in means is integrally formed on an inner surface of the lid wall, such that it projects away in the direction of a lid plane, and at least one open hollow stub is integrally formed on the lower part, between adjacent egg holders, such that it projects away from the egg holders and a subdivision plane, out of the interior, by way of a stub-opening periphery in such a manner that, in the closed position of the lid, the stub projects out of the interior as far as the inner surface of the lid wall.

IMITATION EGG PRODUCT
A whole-egg replacement or imitation egg product may be provided. The whole-egg replacement may have an extended shelf life and may be available in a variety of commercial markets. The imitation egg product may be formulated to be vegan and/or allergy friendly based on the specific ingredients chosen. The imitation egg product may also provide a sensory experience similar to that of a natural egg, by being of the approximate size and shape of a chicken egg and being able to be cracked open in a similar manner.

Method and apparatus for forming a notched hinge connection in a thermoformed container
Method and apparatus for forming a hinge in a thermoformed container, such as an egg carton, and the resulting container. The hinge is formed in the mold, by severing a thermoformed container along the length of a hinge line, with the exception of plurality of spaced connecting membranes that are not severed. The alternating severed portions and connecting membranes are referred to herein as a notched hinge connection. The width, depth, and location of the connecting membranes can be adjusted so the hinge area is strong enough to withstand multiple openings during use.

Marination Container for Hard-Boiled Eggs
A flexible egg conforming container receives an egg therein and provides channels around the egg to marinate the egg with reduced marinade. The channels are supported away from the egg by inwardly extending bosses arrayed to impart a decorative pattern to the egg after marination.
