STORAGE AND/OR TRANSPORTATION OF PRODUCE, FLOWERS AND PLANTS
The disclosure relates to methods and compositions for improving storage and/or transportation of food, flowers, plants, or the like.
Fruit bag for a fruit of fruit tree with nano-lamination film and manufacturing method thereof
Provided are a fruit bag and a manufacturing method thereof, for example, a fruit bag for a fruit of a fruit tree may include: an inner surface configured to surround the fruit; an outer surface configured to exposed to an outside; an opening formed in a predetermined size at the same position of the inner surface and the outer surface; a nano membrane generated by an electrospinning of a polymer solution as a raw material for nano-fibers; a non-woven fabric for strength reinforcement laminated on one or both sides of the nano membrane and a nano-lamination film covering the entire surface of the opening thereby while maintaining excellent air permeability, it is possible to properly maintain the humidity and against various external environmental effects.

Compactly Transportable Collapsible Frame
A compactly transportable collapsible frame for supporting a soft bag accommodating perishable goods comprises: (a) a rectangular carrying sub-frame; (b) at least two supporting members releasably connectable to said rectangular carrying sub-frame. The rectangular carrying sub-frame comprises four successively connected to each other Γ-like shaped members. Each Γ-like shaped member comprises a main elongate portion having a longitudinal axis and first and second terminal connectors oriented is along and perpendicularly to the axis, respectively

PROCESS FOR PREPARING READY-TO-EAT COCONUT
A process for preparing a ready-to-eat mature coconut in which coconuts are selected based on its flotation characteristics, higher floaters being more mature. An oval or circular groove is carved partially into the bottom of the coconut shell. The coconut is then sealed into a heat tolerant plastic bag in which it is cooked, then frozen. Pieces of coconut husk are roasted until they turn black, then boiled in water to obtain a vapor that condenses to a liquid extraction, which is added to the bag before sealing it. The sealed bag is then heated to obtain sweet coconut water, some separation of coconut meat from the coconut shell, and the expansion of the coconut water during the spraying of steam to slightly split the coconut shell along the carved groove whereby the tip of a spoon can be used to pry off the coconut shell.
RIPENING CHAMBER AND METHOD FOR RIPENING FRUIT
The present invention relates to a ripening chamber and a method for fruit ripening. In particular, the present invention relates to a banana ripening chamber and a method for the artificial ripening of bananas (banana ripening technique). In a method according to the invention for ripening fruits, bananas, a respiration of the fruits is measured in a closed chamber containing the fruits to be ripened. A ripening chamber according to the invention is adapted to carry out a method according to the invention for ripening fruit.
CONTAINER FOR THE SHIPMENT AND DISPLAY OF A PRODUCT
A container for the shipment and display of a food product includes a four-sided, collapsible, corrugated plastic sleeve that is selectively enclosed by a pair of opposing plastic trays. Each tray includes inner and outer flanges which are formed along the periphery of a planar plate in a spaced apart relationship and together define a continuous groove dimensioned to receive an open end of the sleeve. The inner flange includes a tapered interior surface which widens the groove towards its distal end to facilitate the process of aligning and inserting an open end of the sleeve therein. A series of projections, each semicircular in lateral cross-section, are formed onto the outer flange and are dimensioned to fittingly protrude through corresponding slots formed in the sleeve to retain the container in its assembled state during the process of packaging and transporting the designated product.

A Collapsible Bulk Container
A collapsible bulk container 10 comprising a bag 12 for holding a bulk load, a support base 14, four collapsible legs 16 and a rectangular upper frame member 18. The legs 16 are secured to the support base 14 by means of hinge assemblies 20 which permit hinged displacement of the legs between upright positions and folded positions wherein the legs are folded onto the support base 14.
