20210107732 · 2021-04-15 ·

A containment tray for holding, transporting and/or storage of objects, such as, preferably, liquid-filled or, more preferably, oil-filled objects. More particularly, the invention relates to a containment tray capable of holding, transporting and/or storing liquid-filled industrial objects and preventing leaking of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials from such objects when in the containment tray into the outside environment.

Water supply and heating system with flexible tank and heating carpet
10948217 · 2021-03-16 ·

A water supply and heating system that includes a flexible water tank, a flexible heating carpet and an electrical connection mechanism. The water tank includes a flexible outer layer and separable inflatable and collapsible water bag. The water bag is equipped with a water inlet and outlet hoses for receiving supplying water. The water bag is positioned inside the outer layer and is designed to remain collapsed when and to inflate when filled with water. The outer layer too is designed to inflate when the water bag is filled with the water and to deflate when the water is drained from the water bag. A dry space is defined between the outer layer and the water bag in which the heating carpet is positioned. The heating carpet includes flexible flat electrical heating strips that are connected to the electrical connection mechanism.

Flex-crack resistant and thermally resistant aseptic bulk bags for flexible packaging

This invention relates to inner-plies for bulk-bags that surprisingly offer not only high thermal resistance, but also high flex-crack resistance. This invention also relates to such bulk-bags made for packaging of flowable materials, aseptic or otherwise, and the process for improving their flex-crack and thermal resistance. Preferably, the packaging is aseptic. More specifically, the inner-ply of the invention comprises a resin blend comprising the Exceed XP resin; an LDPE resin or an ethylene--olefin copolymer (EAO copolymer); or a blend of said LDPE resin and said EAO copolymer, with flex-crack resistance improved in both machine direction and transverse direction, in conjunction with an improved thermal resistance. Thus, in addition to possessing good flex-crack resistance, the bulk-bags can withstand steam sterilization and/or aseptic packaging conditions.

BAG FOR PREVENTION OF PUTREFACTION OF FOODSTUFFS, AND A STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTION OF PUTREFACTION OF FOODSTUFFS CONTAINED IN THE BAG
20210024271 · 2021-01-28 ·

The present invention has for its object to provide a bag for preventing foodstuffs from becoming rotten due to the penetration of bacteria, mold and the like. As shown in FIG. 1, the bag includes an interior bag on which a calcined calcium powder is carried, and an exterior bag applied over the interior bag. Preferably, the interior bag is formed of a porous material such as a woven or unwoven fabric and the exterior bag is a high-strength flexible container bag. Preferably, the interior bag contains a foodstuff that has been disinfected and sterilized, such as rice or soybean, or a foodstuff added and mixed with the calcined calcium powders.

End-closure for a flexible tank

A flexible tank has an inner tank and at least one end closure with alternating interlaced hollow loops from two separate exterior layers. A nylon rope or similar securing element is passed through the hollow loops to use the exterior layers in an end closure to constrain the inner tank. An end flap may be welded to an exterior layer and positioned between the inner tank and the end closure. The hollow loops may be formed by folding over the exterior layers and cutting out complementary portions so the loops are in an alternating interlaced pattern.

System, Method, and Apparatus for Flood Damage Avoidance

An apparatus for reducing a probability of damage to a vehicle from rising water includes a first sheet of a water-resistant material and a second sheet of the water-resistant material. A first side of a connector (e.g., zipper) is interfaced to a first periphery of the first sheet of the water-resistant material and a second side of the connector is interfaced to a second periphery of the second sheet of the water-resistant material. After a vehicle is placed upon the first sheet of the water-resistant material, the second sheet of the water-resistant material is draped over the vehicle and the first side connector is engaged with the second side connector, thereby encapsulating the vehicle within the first sheet and second sheet of the water-resistant material

LIGHTWEIGHT HERMETIC STORAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DRY AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES
20200108580 · 2020-04-09 ·

A lower cost, light weight, hermetic system and method for storage of dry commodities outdoors for up to 1000 tonnes of commodity includes a multilayer joined material with a thickness of 0.2-0.3 mm, a weight of approximately 200 g/m.sup.2, a permeability to oxygen of less than 3 cc/m.sup.2/day and a permeability to water of less than 4 g/m.sup.2/day, a tensile strength of approximately 38 MPa, and insect penetration-resistance of approximately 1200 g/m.sup.2 (Dart test value).

SYSTEM SUPPORTING FILLING AND HANDLING BULK BAG APPARATUS CONTAINING TORREFIED MATERIALS
20190375572 · 2019-12-12 ·

A container includes a multilayered composite film combination forming a bag defining a product fill opening. The multilayered composite film combination includes first and second polymer film inner and outer layers each having vacuum holding properties, and a third polymer film disposed between the first and second polymer films. The third polymer film has oxygen barrier properties. Product is packed into the container by coupling a fill spout of the container with a fill tube of a product filling apparatus, and oxygen is drawn from an inner cavity of the container. Fluidized product entrained in nitrogen and/or carbon dioxide gas is flowed through the fill spout of the container, and nitrogen is added into the inner cavity through the fill spout of the container. The fill spout of the container is sealed while a negative pressure is drawn within the inner cavity thereby immobilizing the product within the container.

End-closure for a flexible tank

A flexible tank has one or more inner layers and one or more outer layers enclosing the inner layers. It has an improved structure to prevent leakage and rupture when making a long multi-modal shipment of large quantities of a liquid, including when the flexible tank is not supported by the end or side walls of a shipping container.
