External floating roof tank shell extension
The invention relates to an inexpensive technique and procedure to add storage capacity to existing hydrocarbon storage tanks that have a double seal floating roof. The additional storage capacity is obtained by installing an extension that is strong enough to provide the upper seal of the double seal arrangement to maintain a sealed vapor space that allows the roof to move higher within the existing peripheral wall of the storage tank.

Cover for storage tanks
A system for providing a flexible cover in a storage tank is provided that reduces the amount of vapors released from a hydrocarbon liquid and other liquids and reduces the amount of product (liquid) lost to the atmosphere. The flexible cover is, in some embodiments, comprised of one or more membranes joined together along their respect perimeter edges. The membranes are made from a material or materials that allow the cover to roll up, or otherwise reduce the cross sectional diameter or area of the cover, to allow the membrane to pass through a port in a storage tank. Once inside the storage tank, the cover may return to its normal and/or predetermined dimensions to cover the upper surface of the hydrocarbon or other liquid, which reduces the release of vapors from the hydrocarbon liquid and other liquids.

Insulation disc for septic tank lid
An insulating disc can be easily installed and removed from inside a riser of a septic tank. The insulating disc is seated atop an opening of the tank lid and seals around the riser inner surface. The disc can include a core formed of R-10 extruded polystyrene sandwiched between two layers of high-density polyethylene. A flexible gasket can extend outward from the disc to seal against the inner surface of the riser. Retention tabs can also be provided to center and hold the disc in place. The disc can be divided into two semicircular halves that are hinged together. A hook, eyebolt and/or rope can be used to aid in removing the disc from the riser.

EVACUATED DRAINAGE CONTAINER
A pre-evacuated container for medical purposes includes an outer body that forms an internal cavity, wherein in a default state the internal cavity is at a vacuum pressure relative to atmosphere, and a fluid interface on the outer body that connects to a drainage tube. A pressure indicator on the outer body is adapted to provide an indication as to a fluid pressure state of the internal cavity. An outlet assembly can be actuated to form an opening between atmosphere and the internal cavity, wherein the outlet assembly can be actuated without damaging the outer body.
