The side upright (3) of the adjacent side panel is equipped with an opening (10), whose shape and dimensions are adapted to the shape and dimensions of the catch (5) and it is in one plane with the catch (5). The spring (6) is linked to the lever (4).
Collapsible Intermodal Container Stacker and a Stacking System
The present invention provides a collapsible intermodal container stacker, comprising: a stationary section and a movable section disposed adjacent the stationary section. The stationary section comprises: a substantially upright planar face part; and a side wall securing device configured to operatively connect to a first side wall of a collapsible intermodal container and to secure the first side wall in use against or with respect to the planar face part. The movable section comprises: a track extending substantially perpendicular to the planar face part; a carriage engaged with and movable along the track, the carriage being configured to attach to a second side wall of the collapsible intermodal container in use; and a lower wall moving device configured to operatively connect to a lower wall of the collapsible intermodal container and to move the lower wall in use such that the lower wall pivots upwards. In use, the pivotal movement of the lower wall causes the second side wall to move towards the first side wall and thereby the carriage to move towards the stationary section. The present invention also provides a stacking system comprising: a collapsible intermodal container stacker according to the present invention; and a collapsible intermodal container comprising: first and second side walls, a lower wall hingedly attached to a lower end of the second side wall; and a link member hingedly attached to the lower wall and a lower end of the first side wall such that, when the lower wall pivots towards the second side wall, the link member causes the first and second side walls to move towards each other.
Folding container
A foldable shipping container adjustable between an unfolded condition in which said container is suitable for use as a cargo container, and a folded condition for when said container is not being used to store or ship cargo. The foldable shipping container having ways for controlling the rate at which the panels collapse.
TRANSPORT CONTAINER
A transport container for carrying objects includes a base for supporting the objects. Opposing first and second side walls are operatively connected to the base. At least one of the side walls is movable between an extended position and a contracted position. The transport container has a first width between the first and second side walls when at least one of the side walls is in the extended position and a second width between the side walls when at least one of the side walls is in the contracted position. The second width is different from the first width. The first and second side walls are also movable between a deployed position and a collapsed position. The transport container has a first height when the side walls are in the deployed position and a second height different than the first height when the side walls are in the collapsed position.
Crate with retractable wall
A crate includes a base and a plurality of walls including a front wall. The front wall is movable between a retracted, open position and a closed position. In some embodiments, the front wall includes a frame, a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is hingeably connected to the frame and the second portion is hingeably connected to the first portion.
Foldable double-deck frame container
The present invention discloses a foldable double-deck frame container, which comprises a first and second end rails parallel with each other and a first corner post, the first corner post is located at an end of the frame container, the first and second end rails are located between two of the first corner posts, and the second end rail is located above the first end rail, the frame container further comprises a second corner post rotatably connected with the top end of the first corner post so that the second corner post is movable between an vertical position and a folded position. The foldable double-deck frame container according to the present invention has a first corner post and a second corner post, and the second corner post is foldable so as to be folded during the backhaul process from being damaged. Such a frame container has a simpler configuration, lower cost of manufacture, convenience of recovery and a broad range of application.
Scale for an intermodal freight container
The present disclosure is to a scale for measuring a weight of a mass inside of an intermodal freight container. The scale includes a first bottom side rail, a second bottom side rail, a first cross-member and a second cross-member, where the cross-members join the first bottom side rail and the second bottom side rail. The scale further includes a jointed member having a first elongate section joined to the first bottom side rail with a first hinge, a second elongate section joined to the second bottom side rail with a second hinge, and a third hinge that connects the first elongate section and the second elongate section. A container floor is positioned over the jointed member to allow force from a weight of a mass on the container floor to be transferred through the hinges into a first lateral force through the first elongate section into the first bottom side rail, where a load cell associated with the first bottom side rail provides an electrical signal whose magnitude is representative of the first lateral force being imparted by the weight of the mass. A microprocessor receives and stores in memory the electrical signal from the load cell indicating the weight of the mass inside of the intermodal freight container.
Collapsible frame for a liquid storage tank with variable capacity
A collapsible frame for a liquid holding tank is provided. The frame has orthogonal upper and lower rails spaced by vertical struts. The upper and lower rails have hinges at each corner thereof and orthogonally aligned hinges at midpoints and quarterpoints of two opposed sides thereof. The frame can be expanded or collapsed between a fully expanded and a fully collapsed condition by operation of the midpoint hinges and corner hinges. The frame can be expanded or collapsed between a fully expanded and a semi-expanded condition by operation of either the quarterpoint and corner hinges or the midpoint, quarterpoint, and corner hinges. The fully collapsed condition is primarily designed for storage, the semi-expanded condition allows the size of the tank to be reduced to accommodate site constraints, and the fully expanded condition maximizes the tank's liquid storage capacity.
COLLAPSIBLE SHIPPING CONTAINER ACTUATOR
An apparatus and method for lifting and collapsing a collapsible cargo container includes a frame, and vertical guides for aligning the actuator with the cargo container. First and second pusher assemblies engage the end walls of the container to pivot the end walls against the ceiling of the container, where uplocks retain the end walls in a stowed away position. Foldable side walls are then buckled by the weight of the ceiling with assistance from the actuator, until the side walls occupy a predominantly horizontal position between the ceiling/end wall combination and a floor of the cargo container, resulting in a compact configuration. The actuator unfolds the container using steps discussed above in a reverse order.
