Modular bicycle storage structure
09908576 · 2018-03-06 · ·

Disclosed herein is a modular bicycle storage structure designed to maximize the number of bicycles that can fit into it. The structure is designed to provide a private locker to each bicycle, which is accessible by a locker door, and secured using a standard bicycle U-Lock. The structure may use bicycles that have foldable, twistable or removable handlebars in order to reduce their overall width. The user generally aligns the pedals in a specific way before inserting the bicycle into the structure. The pedals slide into a groove formed in the side wall. This allows for overlapping of pedals for adjacent bicycles providing a compact storage configuration.

ROLLER PLATFORM TRANSPORT SYSTEM

A roller platform apparatus includes a rigid plate, a set of bearings mounted on the rigid plate, and a set of one or more bars attached to the rigid plate. The set of bars is configured to restrict movement of a load into a space between the set of bearings and lower than the height of the one of more bars, and the height of the one or more bars is lower than the height of the first set of bearings and higher than the rigid plate. At least one advantage in this approach is that an equipment rack can be transported without the use of casters that are permanently attached to the equipment rack.

Tilt-less Liner Apparatus and System for Unloading Bulk Cargo

A tilt-less liner apparatus and system for unloading bulk cargo from a container liner using a first layer on the container liner floor having a friction reducing top layer and a friction enhancing bottom layer to secure first layer against movement. A second layer of flexible high strength material folded in over lapping multiple pre-folded sections from at least two to eight folded stacked layers are used to cover the friction reducing top first layer. The second layer is connected to a coiling means and motor for coiling up and removing the second layer from the container over the friction reducing top layer of the first layer and the bulk cargo comes out with the second layer into a hopper provided with means for bulk product distribution. Vibrators, depth measuring devices and speed controls are provided to control bulk cargo unloading and prevent blockage build up.

Storage system

Storage system for vehicles, in particular two-wheeled vehicles, bicycles or motorcycles, having a substantially closed housing with a storage region which is not accessible from the outside and with at least one closable loading and unloading station (2) of the vehicles, a transportation system (3, 4, 5) for conveying the vehicles from the at least one loading and unloading station (2) into the storage region and within the storage region, wherein the vehicles can be stored and conveyed in mutually separate containers (9).

Modular transportation systems, devices and methods

A system including devices and methods for transporting or storing materials uses slidable containers, or modules. The modules have recessed wheels that facilitate sliding movement when placed on tracks. The use of tracks allows for precise placement of the modules in close proximity to each other and the walls of a vessel or facility they are placed in. The modules may be disassembled for easy, compact storage or transport. The modules may be used with a lift platform adapted to accommodate the modules and tracks or rails for engaging the recessed wheels. By using closely aligned tracks, the transport module may be used to maximize efficient use of space when transporting cargo.

Container Having Multiple Layers of Tracks Including At Least One Non-Linear Track
20170283166 · 2017-10-05 ·

A container for holding product therein during shipment and being returned for reuse has a base and opposed sides, linear and non-linear tracks, and a plurality of dunnage supports extending between the tracks. At least one of the tracks on each side may be non-linear in the shape of a C or U or J. One type of dunnage support comprises end members and a tubular middle member, the end members being movable along the tracks. The dunnage supports support dunnage, such as pouches.

MODULAR SHIPPING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM

Container Having Generally L-Shaped Slotted Tracks To Facilitate Movement of Dunnage

A container for holding product therein during shipment and being returned for reuse has guides containing generally L-shaped slotted tracks having horizontal and vertical portions. A plurality of dunnage supports extend between the tracks. Dunnage is suspended by the dunnage supports. The dunnage supports have narrowed portions engaged with the slotted tracks.

Container for solar string transportation

A container for solar string transportation includes, on the inside of a solar-string storing section, a long-side side plate, and a short-side side plate, and has an upper opening of the solar-string storing section for loading and unloading, and a pair of solar-string lifting/lowering devices along the inner wall of the long-side side plate. The solar-string lifting/lowering device includes a driving gear section set on the bottom plate side, an endless chain member that revolves around a direction changing gear section set on the upper opening side, a plurality of solar-string placing devices fixed to the endless chain member and including, on the outer side thereof, a projecting section for placing the lower surface of an end edge of the solar string, and a shock absorbing member fixed to the back of the solar-string placing devices. The shock absorbing member holds the end edge upper surface of the solar string.
