Golf club with adjustable weighting system
A golf club head having an adjustable weight system. The golf club head having a single, relatively compact slot for receiving a weight assembly. The weight assembly comprising a relatively high mass. Wherein small lateral movements of the heavy weight assembly are sufficient to shape a golfer's shot. Wherein the small movements also prevents the reduction of the total golf club head moment of inertia, thus preserving the forgiveness of the golf club when the ball is miss-hit.
SMART DEVICE
A smart vehicle flock navigation system includes a plurality of smart vehicles configured to follow a leader smart vehicle, wherein the leader smart vehicle is configured to follow a target vehicle or a target driving plan; each smart vehicle being equipped with: obstacle detection and avoidance capabilities; vehicle-to-vehicle communication means for transmitting information about obstacles and evasive actions to following smart vehicles; a flock control module for adjusting the driving path of the smart vehicle flock based on transmitted obstacle information; a flocking behavior algorithm based on three independent rules: Separation, Alignment, and Cohesion, controlling the motion of each smart vehicle within the flock; and a distributed flocking operation mechanism utilizing wireless network communication for coordinating the behavior of the smart vehicle flock.
SMART DEVICE
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a body with a processor, a camera and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor.
HELMET
A helmet for protecting a wearer's head. The helmet comprises an outer shell comprising a first shell member and a second shell member movable relative to one another in a longitudinal direction of the helmet to adjust a fit of the helmet on the wearer's head. The helmet comprises an adjustment mechanism configured to control movement of the first shell member and the second shell member relative to one another. The adjustment mechanism comprises an actuator movable between a first position in which the first shell member and the second shell member are allowed to move relative to one another and a second position in which the first shell member and the second shell member are precluded from moving relative to one another. The actuator is configured to lock the first shell member and the second shell member relative to one another without extending through a given one of the first shell member and the second shell member.
LOCKING MECHANISM FOR FOLDABLE POLE AND FOLDABLE POLE
A locking mechanism is adapted for a foldable pole including a pole body and an elastic drawstring disposed therein, and the pole body being composed of a plurality of pole sections foldably connected with each other through the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a connector and a connecting sleeve. The connecting sleeve is disposed on one end of adjacent two ends of two pole sections and the connector is disposed on another end of adjacent two ends of two pole sections. The connecting sleeve has a through hole for receiving the connector. An elastic buckle for locking the connector is disposed on the connecting sleeve. One end of the elastic buckle passes through the connecting sleeve and is inserted into the clamping groove of the connector. The locking sleeve is pressable against the elastic buckle so as to lock or unlock the connecting sleeve with the connector.
Systems and methods for counting features in motion signals
Systems and methods for counting features in a motion signal are provided. An example method includes detecting a signal indicative of a motion of a human body, determining, by a controller communicatively coupled to the sensor, a period in the signal, determining a location and a value of a feature within the period of the signal, determining that the location and the value of the feature are valid for counting, and in response to the determination that the location and the value of the feature are valid for counting, increasing a counter for the feature. The feature may also include a global maximum of the signal within a positive phase of the period. Criteria for the validation depend on a current type of activity. The method includes automatically determining the current type of activity based on several preceding locations and values of the feature in the signal.
Method and Apparatus for Early Detection of Diabetic Foot Disorders by Analyzing Foot Temperature and Vertical and Shear Forces on Feet
A system for analysis of user gait and foot disorder intended to minimize risks ulceration and limb amputation associated with the uncontrolled increase of the foot temperature in persons with diabetes. This system comprises a motion, force and temperature sensors and a processing element configured to process motion algorithms, measure ground reaction force (GRF) and changes in foot temperature embedded in the footwear insoles in communication with a smartphone based analysis application using wireless radio interface. The analysis application processes data received from the footwear sensors, compares the results with set of criteria and rules, and if any of the predefined criteria is exceeded, provides alerts to the user and the remote medical supervisor. Additionally, the insoles may be equipped with a haptic actuators configured to determine the level of the user neuropathy by measuring vibration perception threshold (VPT) level.
System and methods for adjusting variable variable geometry, height, weight distribution dynamics in orthotic devices and equipment
An active suspension orthotic support system is disclosed. The suspension orthotic support system comprises at least one variable resistance beam extending from a heel section to a mid-arch section of the footwear, wherein rotation of the variable resistance beam from a first position to a second position causes a resistance provided by the variable resistance beam to vary between a minimum resistance to a maximum resistance.
Blockchain
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a transceiver coupled to a processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.
Ski exercising apparatus
A ski exercising apparatus has a set of two parallel, arcuate rails, a wheeled carriage riding on the rails, a set of two articulated footpads mounted side-by-side on the wheeled carriage; and two sets of powerbands arranged parallel with a lengthwise centerline of the apparatus, spaced apart by at least one-half of the width of the apparatus.
