09919816 · 2018-03-20 · ·

A container with improved sealing, for improved security in the event of loading, transporting and/or unloading submicron particles, in particular nanopowder/nanoparticles, includes a connector for injecting liquid and/or gas. Such a container can also contain at least one inflatable seal (40) valve (3; 4). The container is provided with elements for changing the physical state of the material by heating, mixing or ultrasound bombardment. A method for using the container and an inflatable seal valve are also described.

Dual Tank Structure Integrally Supported on a Portable Base Frame
20180058184 · 2018-03-01 ·

A dual tank structure includes first and second tanks with a common secondary containment structure which are all integrally supported on a common base frame. The common base frame includes longitudinal skids so as to be suitable for transport using a conventional winch truck. A passageway with an integral valve therein permits selective communication between the tanks. The common containment structure has a containment volume which is greater than a storage volume of a largest one of the first tank and the second tank and which is less than a combined storage volume of both the first tank and the second tank.

Air composition adjustment device, refrigeration apparatus, and transportation container

An air composition adjustment device is provided with a cover unit including a cover that covers around a gas sensor, an inflow path that takes air into the cover, and an outflow path that causes air to flow out from the cover.

Convection based temperature assured packaging system

A packaging system for a temperature sensitive payload is provided. The system includes side panels and end panels forming a product compartment. Cooling layers within the product compartment are located below and above the products. Channel members located between the side panels and the payload and between the end panels and the payload create vertical channels having rectangular cross sectional areas for convective air movement.

FLOOR ASSEMBLY FOR TRANSPORTABLE REFRIGERATED CONTAINER

A floor assembly for a trailer includes stringers that extend in a transverse direction of the assembly and are spaced from one another in a longitudinal direction of the assembly. The stringers are made of a thermally insulative material. A bottom flange is coupled to a lower portion of a respective stringer. A top flange made of a non-thermally insulative material is coupled to an upper portion of a respective stringer. Floor panels are also provided. Each floor panel extends in the longitudinal direction, is supported by the top flange, is coupled to another floor panel along respective edges thereof, and has at least one rib that extends in the longitudinal direction and depends substantially perpendicularly from a bottom surface thereof. Each floor panel is made of the second non-thermally insulative material and each at least one rib is welded to a top surface of the top flange.

A floor assembly includes a plurality of transverse stringers spaced from one another in the longitudinal direction of the floor assembly. The assembly also includes a plurality of transverse bottom flanges, each transverse bottom flange being coupled to a lower portion of a respective transverse stringer and to a neighboring transverse bottom flange along respective transversely extending side edges thereof. A top flange comprising a supporting sheet is coupled to an upper portion of each transverse stringer. A plurality of longitudinal panels are supported by the supporting sheet and coupled to one another along respective longitudinally extending edges thereof to form a floor surface, each longitudinal panel in the plurality of longitudinal panels having at least one longitudinally extending rib depending substantially perpendicularly from a bottom surface thereof. The at least one rib is coupled to a top surface of the supporting sheet.

Hydrocarbon storage vessel with integral containment
12221277 · 2025-02-11 · ·

A hydrocarbon fluid storage structure has a storage vessel containing hydrocarbon fluids therein and a containment vessel fully surrounding the storage vessel so as to provide secondary containment to the storage vessel. A heater is surrounded by heat exchanger fluid within a heat exchanger vessel within the storage vessel. The exterior of the containment vessel is insulated. The heat exchanger fluid is passively circulated within a closed loop path defined by the heat exchanger vessel. Connecting valves providing external access to the contents of the storage vessel are received within a valve housing in heat exchanging relation with a containment space between the containment vessel and the storage vessel.
