GRAIN BIN DUCTING SYSTEMS
Grain bin ducting systems are disclosed that more evenly disperse air through a grain bin while also preventing moisture from building up on the top and sides of a grain bin, which can lead to undesirable moisture levels for parts of the grain bin or even ruin grain. Airflow resistance may be reduced in a grain bin by having the air travel in a horizontal direction through the grain bin instead of a vertical direction. Normally, the radius of the grain bin is substantially less than the height of the grain bin, so the resistance to airflow is substantially lower than in typical grain bin ducting systems.
Adjustable truck compartment system
An example adjustable truck compartment is described. The truck compartment includes a first side wall including a first guiding rail extending between a proximal end and a distal end, and a second side wall disposed opposite from the first side wall, the second side wall including a second guiding rail extending between a proximal end and a distal end of the second side wall. The truck compartment includes a rear wall coupled to the distal ends of the first and second side walls to define an enclosure between the first side wall, the second side wall, and the rear wall. The truck compartment includes a first divider panel configured to be received by the first and second guiding rails and within the enclosure in an orientation parallel to a floor of the enclosure to separate the enclosure into a first enclosure volume and a second enclosure volume.
TRANSPORT CONTAINER WITH GAS SELECTIVE MEMBRANE EXHAUST
Described herein is a method for operating a refrigerated shipping container containing respiring produce, the method including: passing a cooled CO.sub.2-rich air stream from an internal environment within the shipping container through a CO.sub.2 selective membrane of a membrane system to produce a cooled CO.sub.2-lean air stream and a CO.sub.2-rich permeate stream; retaining or returning the cooled CO.sub.2-lean air stream to the internal environment; and exhausting the CO.sub.2-rich permeate stream to an external environment outside of the shipping container; drawing external air or permitting external air to pass into the shipping container through an air vent with a pre-set fixed opening of the shipping container in a volume to at least balance a volume difference between the cooled CO.sub.2-rich air stream and the cooled CO.sub.2-lean air stream; wherein the membrane system is operated according to a pre-set mode, and the pre-set mode is independent of a measured gas concentration or pressure of the internal environment; and the pre-set fixed opening of the vent is selected based on one or more characteristics of the respiring produce and the pre-set mode of the membrane system.
Assembly for saturating a medium with a fluid
An assembly for saturating or aerating a medium with fluid. At least one hollow cylinder having gates and vents embedded within a grain mass. A target section of grain mass is identified and the gates and vents activated to provide influent flow to the target section in both vertical and horizontal directions.
ANNULAR ROTATABLE AIR SUPPLY DEVICE FOR COAL STORAGE EUROSILO
Provided is an annular rotatable air supply device for a coal storage Eurosilo. The device includes an air duct rotatable ring and an air duct fixing ring. The air duct rotatable ring is fixedly connected with a central revolving platform of the Eurosilo by a second support bracket, the air duct fixing ring is fixedly connected with a top trestle of the Eurosilo by a first support bracket, and the air duct rotatable ring and the air duct fixing ring are arranged coaxially with the central axis of rotation of the Eurosilo. The air duct air duct rotatable ring is sealingly connected with the air duct fixing ring via a sealing assembly, and the air duct rotatable ring and the air duct fixing ring form an annular air duct therebetween.
Multipurpose relocatable structure and lifting systems and methods
A multipurpose relocatable structure includes a floor system, a framework secured to the floor system, and walls coupled to the framework. The walls include a number of panels that are secured along adjacent vertical edges. The multipurpose relocatable structure may include a preconfigured interior, one or more doors having an emergency escape hatch, a protected electrical connector, an environmental control system that is configurable between operational and transport configurations, and lifting corners having securement apertures.
AIR COMPOSITION ADJUSTMENT DEVICE, REFRIGERATION APPARATUS, AND TRANSPORTATION CONTAINER
An air composition adjustment device is provided with a cover unit including a cover that covers around a gas sensor, an inflow path that takes air into the cover, and an outflow path that causes air to flow out from the cover.
CARBON DIOXIDE INJECTION IN A TRANSPORT UNIT
A system and method for maintaining a desired carbon dioxide concentration within an interior space of a transport unit during transport are disclosed. The method includes determining the carbon dioxide concentration within the interior space; enabling a carbon dioxide injection system when the carbon dioxide concentration is not at a set point value; and disabling the carbon dioxide injection system when the carbon dioxide concentration is at the set point value.
Method and system for grain bin aeration
A grain bin aeration system has inlet ducting in communication with the hollow interior of the storage bin adjacent a perimeter of the storage bin and exhaust ducting in communication with the hollow interior of the storage bin at a central location within the storage bin. A first portion of the inlet ducting is directed to the top end of the bin so that aeration flow therethrough is directed downwardly through the material in the storage bin to the exhaust ducting. A second portion of the inlet ducting is directed to the bottom end of the bin so that aeration flow therethrough is directed upwardly through the material in the storage bin to the exhaust ducting.
Intermodal container and method of constructing same
An intermodal container includes a supporting frame having a rectangular base; a first pair of upright posts extending upwardly from the rectangular base; and a first cross-beam coupling the first pair of upright posts. A second pair of upright posts extends upwardly from the rectangular base proximate an opposite end thereof, and a second cross-beam couples the second pair of upright posts. A longitudinally extending connector beam has a first end coupled to the first cross-beam, and a second end coupled to the second cross-beam. The intermodal container further includes a plurality of panels, and each panel is made of fiber reinforced plastic and insulation foam that have been integrally molded together. The panels are coupled to the supporting frame and serve as side walls, end wall, roof, and floor of the container. A method for constructing an intermodal container is also disclosed.
