The invention relates to a floor (10) for a container, the floor comprising at least one section (11,11′,11″) is, wherein the floor section (11,11′,11″) is formed from a single sheet element and includes a number of protruding elements (20′, 20″, 20″) and a base (28), the floor section (11,11′,11″) has a polygonal shape with a length (L) extending in a first direction (X) and a width (W) extending in a second direction (Y) being perpendicular to the first direction (X), each protruding element (20, 20′, 20″) includes a base element having two side walls (22,23) extending perpendicularly from a base (28) of the floor section (11,11′,11″). The invention further relates to a method of manufacture of a floor section (11, 11′, 11″) for a container floor (10).
MULTI-SENSOR CLOSED-LOOP REFRIGERATION CONTROL FOR FREIGHT CONTAINERS
Systems and methods can control refrigeration within a refrigerated freight container. Thermal sensor nodes can be positioned within the freight container. Temperature measurements can be wirelessly relayed from the sensor nodes to a gateway associated with the freight container. The received temperature measurements can be aggregated and logged at the gateway. Thermal models of the freight container and associated cargo loads can be established in response to the logged temperature measurements and loading plan for the foreign container. The refrigeration system can be controlled in response to processing the thermal models. The refrigeration system can be controlled to optimize compliance parameters associated with the cargo loads.
Energy efficient refrigerated container operation
A refrigerated storage container is provided and includes a container housing defining an interior, an air conditioner operable to maintain control of temperatures within the interior and a local controller configured to cycle the air conditioner on and off within a time window based on waste heat ingestion from neighboring refrigerated storage containers.
Transport of powders
A powder container (10) comprising a pressure vessel (12) for containing a quantity of powder (14) and a quantity of pressurised gas (32), an outlet through which, in use, the powder (14) can flow out of the pressure vessel (12), and an outlet valve (24) for selectively opening and closing the outlet, wherein the container (10) further comprises a data sensing and/or logging means (56, 58, 60, 62, 64) adapted to monitor and/or log various parameters of the powder (14) and/or the pressurised gas (32) and further comprising a control unit (54) adapted record and log the sensor readings either continuously, or at intervals, the control unit (54) comprising a communications module adapted to relay sensor readings, or log files, to a remote monitoring station.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR IMPLEMENTING AGGREGABLE, ENVIRONMENT-CONTROLLED MINI-CONTAINERS FOR THE EFFICIENT LOGISTICS OF PERISHABLE PRODUCTS
In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided herein systems and methods for implementing aggregable, environment-controlled mini-containers for the efficient logistics of perishable products. For example, there is a system for providing efficient transportation logistics of dissimilar perishable products within a transportation unit, in which the system includes: multiple mini-containers, each being configurable to stack and aggregate to consume at least a portion of volume within the transportation unit; a Central Driving Unit (CDU) operable to provide services to each of the mini-containers to maintain the contents of each mini-container; a Central Control Unit (CCU) to receive sensor information from each of the mini-containers and further to issue control parameters for maintaining a specified atmosphere composition within each connected mini-container via the CDU, in which the CCU executes the control parameters for maintaining the specified atmosphere composition within each connected mini-container by activating actuators, in which the actuators manipulate valves at each mini-container, allowing for inflow and egress of atmospheric elements; and in which each of the multiple mini-containers constitute individual modular units configurable to form a single inter-connected and aggregated stack having a size which fits within the available volume of the transportation unit. In related embodiments, the CCU is further configured to transmit data on the status of the mini-containers to the outside world, such as transmitting status information to a remote storage location, or to the cloud, or directly to a centrally located data hub. Other related embodiments are disclosed.
SECURITY SLEEVE
A security sleeve including a top panel, a bottom panel, two side panels, a first end, and a second end. The first end of the security sleeve is open and the second end is at least partially closed by at least one bar and the at least one bar is secured to the second end. The security sleeve can be installed in the opening of a wall or panel, e.g., in a shipping container. An air conditioning unit or a heating unit can be installed in the security sleeve through the first end.
INTERNAL AIR ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
An internal air adjustment device supplies low-oxygen-concentration air to a storage, and maintains the oxygen concentration of internal air in a target oxygen concentration range that is lower than a reference concentration. The internal air adjustment device performs an oxygen-concentration restoration operation. The oxygen-concentration restoration operation is an operation of increasing the oxygen concentration of the internal air to the reference concentration from the target oxygen concentration range. In the oxygen-concentration restoration operation, a controller of the internal air adjustment device regulates the flow rate of external air that is supplied into the interior of the storage.
POWER CONTROL FOR A CONTAINER VESSEL
Disclosed is a power control system for a container vessel. The power control system has a power interface for supplying energy to at least one reefer container transportable by the container vessel. The power control system also has a controller configured to obtain load data representative of a load on a generator of the container vessel, and target load range data representative of a target load range for the generator. The power control system is configured to control the load such that the load falls within the target load range by the controller increasing energy supplied to the power interface for storage at the at least one reefer container, when the load is below the target load range.
Hazard Containment System
The present application provides a hazard containment system (“HCS”) and method of using the same. The HCS includes an outer liner, which is based on the re-use of available shipping containers, and an inner liner thus providing a “double walled” system.
