Structure and method for securing and transporting equipment racks
A clamping device secures an equipment rack during shipping. The clamping device includes a gripping portion having first and second surfaces positionable along opposing sides of a respective one of a front and rear lateral logistic bar. The clamping device also includes a clamp mechanism attached to the gripping portion for movement between a disengaged position and an engaged position to selectively engage the first and second surfaces to the opposing sides of the respective one of the front and rear lateral logistic bars positioned adjacent to an equipment rack within a carrier shipping enclosure. A mounting feature is attached to the gripping portion to hold one end of a longitudinal logistic bar positioned along a lateral side of the equipment rack.
LIQUID NITROGEN TANK
A liquid nitrogen tank includes a tank, a storage rack and a drive component. The tank includes a tank cover, a tank body, a vacuum cavity layer and a heat-insulating cavity layer. The tank cover is disposed to cover on the tank body. An access door is provided on the tank body. A storage cavity is provided in the tank body. The heat-insulating cavity layer is provided on a periphery of the storage cavity. The vacuum cavity layer is provided on a periphery of the heat-insulating cavity layer. The storage rack is provided in the storage cavity. A plurality of cryopreservation tube racks are stored in the storage rack. The drive component can drive the storage rack to rotate and move up and down in the storage cavity, and can drive the plurality of cryopreservation tube racks to move to a position corresponding to the access door.
Multipurpose relocatable structure and lifting systems and methods
A multipurpose relocatable structure includes a floor system, a framework secured to the floor system, and walls coupled to the framework. The walls include a number of panels that are secured along adjacent vertical edges. The multipurpose relocatable structure may include a preconfigured interior, one or more doors having an emergency escape hatch, a protected electrical connector, an environmental control system that is configurable between operational and transport configurations, and lifting corners having securement apertures.
Container arrangement and method
The invention relates to a container arrangement comprising a plurality of connected containers, each for storing an automated storage and retrieval system. A coupling arrangement connects and aligns connected containers side-by-side. The containers may be intermodal containers. The invention also relates to a method for providing such an arrangement.
Active container with data bridging
A container having a battery and one or more active systems for maintaining temperature or other characteristics of goods stored within the container relies on a battery to maintain those active systems during transit. The size of the battery required for such applications may be reduced by providing access to external power during a shipment cycle. For example, shelves within transit vehicles or warehouses can supply electricity to the active systems via a wireless or wired connection, or they may recharge the container's battery, or both. The container may also have data bridging capabilities that use short range wireless technology to communicate with nearby devices that have access to other data streams, such as GPS data and internet connectivity. When bridged with a provider, the container may have access to new data streams, or may be able to disable internal devices providing those same data streams to conserve power.
MULTIPURPOSE RELOCATABLE STRUCTURE AND LIFTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A multipurpose relocatable structure according to various embodiments comprises: (1) a floor system; (2) a framework secured adjacent the floor system, the framework comprising: (a) a plurality of corner posts, (b) a pair of upper end posts, and (c) a pair of upper side posts; (3) a ceiling pan secured adjacent the framework; (4) a plurality of walls secured adjacent the framework; and (5) a door comprising an access hole and a hatch disposed adjacent the access hole to selectively prevent passage of a person through the access hole.
Cargo optimizing device for shipping containers and box trucks
A cargo optimizing device includes a rectangular frame having transverse forklift pockets; a rectangular deck housed within the rectangular frame; and stabilization rollers pivotally joined to the rectangular frame at opposing longitudinal ends. The rollers snugly engage with vertical channels of a corrugated shipping container sidewall in an extended position oblique to the rectangular frame and retract to an upright storage position abutting the rectangular frame. The cargo optimizing device forms a second stacking level in a shipping container which otherwise has an upper level of unused space. The device can be supported by legs or suspended by belts.
Adjustable Multipurpose Rack
An adjustable multipurpose rack which can be used for the storage of pipe and other elongated goods. The adjustable multipurpose rack has movable stanchions to accommodate a changing supply and profiles of elongated goods. The adjustable multipurpose rack comprises at least one base and a plurality of stanchions. The plurality of stanchions comprises of at least one movable stanchion defining at least one compartment. The movable stanchion can be driven by an actuation mechanism or by hand should the actuation mechanism fail.
Shelving Unit for a Shipping Container
An improved shelving unit for a shipping container is disclosed herein. The improved shelving unit can comprise one or more shelf assemblies and an RFID reader. Each of the one or more shelf assemblies can comprise a bottom platform and a top platform. The RFID reader can be mounted between the bottom platform and the top platform. The top platform can be capable of supporting items.
Wall Panel for an Automated Inventory Module
An improved wall panel for an automated inventory module is disclosed herein. The improved wall panel can comprise a wall panel. The wall panel can be capable of being mounted at a corrugated interior surface of an automated inventory module (AIM). The wall panel can comprise a substantially flat first exterior layer comprising a first side and a second side. The first exterior layer first side can face the interior of the AIM when the wall panel is mounted at the interior surface, and the first exterior layer second side can face the interior surface when the wall panel is mounted at the interior surface. The first exterior layer can comprise a ferromagnetic material.
