Fabric closure with an access opening for cargo containers
A fabric closure, and enclosure, are provided for cargo containers, including a fabric panel formed of high-strength yarns, and a pair of selectively closeable openings formed in the fabric panel for access therethrough, the selectively closeable openings having a substantially vertical opening, and a slide fastener for closure thereof.
A HIGH-PERFORMANCE SEAFLOOR FLEXIBLE OIL STORAGE SYSTEM
A high-performance seafloor flexible oil storage system, solving the existing problems of high storage cost and difficult maintenance of crude oil in offshore oilfields, comprises, sequentially connected, an oil-water separator, a pressure pump, and an input riser extending downward below the sealevel; and a pipeline and multiple flexible oil storage tanks having the same structure with each communicated therewith through a control valve are arranged below the sealevel. One end of the pipeline is communicated with the input riser through a blocking valve and an input valve, and the other end further sequentially connected with an outlet booster pump, an output valve, and an output riser extending upwards above the sealevel and connected to a tanker through a cooler and an output pump. The flexible oil storage tank has a concrete counterweight connected thereunder for fixing it to a seabed. The system has simple structure, convenient maintenance and good practicability.
Replaceable Closure System for Flexible Panels
A zipper closure for a panel includes a holder and a first zipper. The holder includes an attachment tab, a first wing, and a second wing. The attachment tab is configured to attach to a panel. The first wing includes a first securement segment and the second wing includes a second securement segment that opposes the first securement segment. The first zipper includes a chain and a zipper tape. The zipper tape extends in a direction away from the chain and includes a first surface that has a third securement segment attached thereto and includes a second surface that is opposite the first surface and has a fourth securement segment attached thereto. The fourth securement segment is engaged with the first securement segment and the third securement segment is engaged with the second securement segment to releaseably secure the first zipper to the holder.
Latch for air cargo container doors
A latch for securing a component to a track in a base of air cargo equipment, such as a pallet or the floor of a unit load device. The latch includes a rigid support configured to be attached at the bottom edge of the component. The latch also includes a handle. The handle rotates relative to the support between an open position and a closed position. The handle uses a rotationally tapered locking cam to secure the component to the track. In one embodiment, the component is a door, such as a fabric curtain.
Fabric air cargo container doors having improved fastening system
A fabric closure for the open end of an air cargo container having a fabric door and a fastening system for connecting the opposed side edges of the fabric door to couplings attached to the container. The fastening system includes at least one fabric pocket, a protective strip attached to the outer surface of the pocket, and a connecting strap for being secured around a respective coupling. The connecting strap passes through the fabric pocket and is engaged with a hook and loop fastener portion on the protective strip.
INDUSTRIAL CONTAINMENT BAGS FOR BULK MATERIALS, WASTE MATERIALS AND/OR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS WITH VARYING LEVELS OF RADIOACTIVITY
The present invention is directed to new and improved industrial containment bags wherein the improvement comprises providing methods and technologies for improving the integrity of such bags during processes designed for lifting, transporting storing and/or disposing of the same. In certain embodiments, the improvement includes providing methods and technologies for improving the sealing capabilities of the bag's closure systems. In other embodiments, the improvement includes providing methods and technologies for assessing the load balance of materials being contained in such industrial containment bags; and thereafter, compensating for any significant load imbalances. The present invention is also directed to methods of manufacturing, using, filling, lifting, transporting, storing, and/or disposing of such new and improved industrial containment bags.
Air cargo container and curtain for the same
A curtain closure for the cargo opening of an air cargo container and the air cargo containers that have the same. The curtain closures include a fabric layer, and at least one of an insulating layer or a reinforcing layer attached to the inside of the fabric layer.
INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINER
A container for the transport and storage of goods includes an internal fillable tank and an external support structure surrounding the tank. The external support structure has a base structure arranged below the tank, such that a base of the tank is supported on the base structure. The external support structure also has an upper support structure arranged above the tank for absorbing loads exerted on the tank from above. The base structure includes a plurality of lower column portions, and the upper support structure includes a plurality of corresponding upper column portions, which each project from opposing faces of the base structure and the upper support structure respectively and which meet somewhere along the height of the tank, thereby forming a number of columns for laterally supporting the tank.
Air cargo container with cable tensioned door
A cargo container includes a base, side walls and a rear wall on the base and a top attached to the side walls and the rear wall. A door frame is attached to the base, the side walls and the top. A fabric panel is provided on or in the door frame. Left and right cable rings are provided at left and right lower corners of the fabric panel. Left and right door posts are positioned at left and right lower corners of the door frame. A cable in or on the fabric panel is attached to or extends around the left and right cable rings. A cable tensioner tensions the cable to secure the fabric panel in closed position in the door frame.
