APPARATUS FOR BULK HANDLING
A container for bulk handling including a body defined by an upper portion of rigid construction, a lower portion of rigid construction and a central portion of flexible construction extending between the upper portion and the lower portion. The lower portion includes an outlet for the discharge of product from the container, and the upper portion, the lower portion and the central portion define a chamber for bulk handling of product.
PORTABLE CONTAINMENT UNITS AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
Portable containment units and methods for making same are described herein. The portable containment unit can include a liner containing a geotextile material and having an outer perimeter. A wall assembly can be adhered to an upper surface of the geotextile material on the outer perimeter of the liner. The wall assembly can include an open-cell foam material. An elastomeric material can be coated onto the liner and the wall assembly to form the portable containment unit.
CARGO CONTAINER CLOSURE SYSTEMS
Embodiments of the invention described herein thus provide systems and methods for improved securement of a cargo cover/flexible door to a cargo container. The systems generally provide securement using an integrated hook shape that is formed into the frame extrusions of the cargo container. This internal shape provides a construction that is less vulnerable to damage, can reduce the repair ratio, and the out of service time for the unit.
Vertically Collapsible Semi-Truck Trailer
Methods of transporting a plurality of freight containers are disclosed, including stacking one or more containers on a transportation vehicle, where one or more of the stacked containers is a vertically collapsible container in a collapsed position, where at least one of the vertically collapsible containers includes: a frame assembly including: a plurality of rectangular frame members; a plurality of articulated vertical frame members disposed between the rectangular frame members; and where the articulated vertical frame members are positioned and arranged to retract to within the frame assembly; a lifting mechanism positioned and arranged to elevate the rectangular frame members from each other; and where the lifting mechanism is disposed between the uppermost rectangular frame member of the frame assembly and the lowermost rectangular frame member of the frame assembly.
Vertically collapsible semi-truck trailer
A collapsible container including frame assembly, a lifting mechanism, a retractable side wall, a retractable end wall, a top member, and a bottom member is disclosed. The frame assembly includes rectangular frame members and articulated vertical frame members disposed between the rectangular frame members. At least one rectangular frame member includes a receptacle member. The articulated vertical frame members are positioned and arranged to retract within the frame assembly. The lifting mechanism is positioned and arranged to elevate the rectangular frame members from each other. The retractable side wall is positioned and arranged to retract into a receptacle member. The retractable end wall is positioned and arranged to retract into a receptacle member. The top member is disposed on an uppermost rectangular frame member. The bottom member is disposed on a lowermost rectangular frame member. A method of transporting a plurality of containers is disclosed.
AIR CARGO CONTAINER WITH CABLE TENSIONED DOOR
A cargo container includes a base, side walls and a rear wall on the base and a top attached to the side walls and the rear wall. A door frame is attached to the base, the side walls and the top. A fabric panel is provided on or in the door frame. Left and right cable rings are provided at left and right lower corners of the fabric panel. Left and right door posts are positioned at left and right lower corners of the door frame. A cable in or on the fabric panel is attached to or extends around the left and right cable rings. A cable tensioner tensions the cable to secure the fabric panel in closed position in the door frame.
AIR CARGO CONTAINER WITH SLIDING CURTAIN DOOR
An air cargo container has a tubular head rail extending across the front opening of the container. Sliders are provided in or on the head rail. A curtain door has sheet of flexible material and flexible straps attached to the sheet. The straps are attached to the sliders. The curtain door may be opened and closed via the sliders sliding along the head rail.
AIR CARGO CONTAINER AND CURTAIN FOR THE SAME
A curtain closure for the cargo opening of an air cargo container and the air cargo containers that have the same. The curtain closures include a fabric layer, and at least one of an insulating layer or a reinforcing layer attached to the inside of the fabric layer.
CARGO CONTAINER DOOR CLOSURE MECHANISM
Embodiments of the invention described herein thus provide systems and methods for improved securement of a cargo cover/flexible door to a cargo container. The systems generally provide securement using cooperating frame securement features positioned on the cargo container and securement plates positioned on door straps of the cargo cover.
Water softener brine tank salt bag splitter
The present invention is a water softener brine tank salt bag splitter with a support beam and integral blade positioned below the tank lid by looped vertical mounting brackets that secure over and around the upper edge of the tank sidewall to preserve the air seal between the tank sidewall and lid. The beam and bracket assembly has a fixed length that stiffens the lateral flexibility of the tank sidewall and forms a platform that supports the weight of a salt bag when pouring salt crystals into the tank. The brackets have an anti-rotation sleeve that prevents the blade from rotating relative to the tank walls when the bag drops down onto the blade. The device is formed by two identical plastic beam and blade half portions that join together in linearly locked engagement, and two identical plastic brackets that lockingly secure to the beam ends to set its fixed length.
