A system and method for calculating step count and associated physical movement intensity. In some embodiments, the system includes at least a camera to capture video of user motions, which are analyzed, and the corresponding step count and physical exercise intensity are deduced by the disclosed method.

MOTION-BASED MEDIA CREATION

A system for motion-based media creation includes an article of footwear or apparel having at least one accelerometer or inertial measurement unit operative to monitor spatial motion of at least a portion of the article of footwear or apparel and generate a data stream indicative of the monitored spatial motion. The system further includes a processor in networked wireless communication with the article of footwear or apparel. The processor is configured to receive the data stream from the article of footwear or apparel; identify at least one motion primitive from the received data stream; and trigger the playback of an audio sample or a visual effect in response to the identified at least one motion primitive.

METHOD FOR REAL-TIME INTERACTIVE DANCE EDUCATION USING AVATAR AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

Disclosed herein are a method for real-time interactive dance education using an avatar and an apparatus therefor. In the method, the apparatus extracts a learner pose and an instructor pose from a dance video containing multiple dance learners and an instructional dance video, respectively, renders an avatar dance video based on the extracted pose of a main learner among the multiple dance learners, generates real-time multimodal dance education feedback for the main learner based on an error between the learner pose and the instructor pose, and provides the main learner with the real-time multimodal dance education feedback synchronized to the avatar dance video.

Cheer Stunt Base Training Weights

A training weight for a cheerleading base trainer includes a weight shaped like an athletic shoe with a cutout from a front upper of the athletic shoe shape and includes fasteners adjacent the cutout, wherein the weight and the fasteners comprise a heel mass. The disclosure also includes a first forefoot weight shaped like the cutout with a first forefoot mass configured to be held in the cutout by the fasteners. A second forefoot weight, also shaped like the cutout has a second forefoot mass also configured to be held in the cutout by the fasteners. The heel mass and the first forefoot mass sum to half a mass of the trainer and the heel mass and the second forefoot mass sum to a full mass of the trainer to simulate a base throwing a flyer from one foot (full mass) or from two feet (full mass by two).

System and Method for Enabling Participation in Random Play Dance Both Online and Offline with Integrated Grading System
20260108778 · 2026-04-23 ·

This invention introduces a system for random play dance (RPD) sessions, enabling participation in both offline and online environments with precise performance evaluation and grading. Offline dancers use smartphones equipped with motion and GPS sensors to track accuracy and synchronization, while GPS ensures they remain in the designated area. Online participants rely on AI-powered real-time video analysis to evaluate movements and timing with the music. Optional wearable sensors can further enhance accuracy. The system integrates data from both modes, ensuring consistent evaluation. Augmented reality (AR) enhances the experience by merging online dancers into offline sessions for an immersive RPD experience.
