Storage and transportation radome container

A storage and transportation container for a radome of an aircraft is disclosed having a top wall, and bottom wall that are planar and parallel to one another, and a peripheral wall, wherein the top, bottom, and peripheral walls form an enclosure for supporting the radome within the container. The top wall has a closed curved outline and a surface of a dimension greater than that of the bottom wall having an outline which forms a parallelogram thus making it possible to receive the radome with its curved nose pointing downwards, and wherein the geometry of the container is matched to the form of the radome and of the hold.

TANK AND METHOD

A tank for the storage of liquid or gaseous substances with a fiber-reinforced plastic sheathing, which limits at least one interior space for holding the materials to be stored. At least one circumferential section of the fiber-reinforced plastic sheathing comprises an evacuable sandwich structure, which completely encloses the circumferential section. As a result, the tank has a low weight with a high thermal insulation capacity. Furthermore, a reliable explosion protection of the tank is provided. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a tank for the storage of liquid or gaseous substances is provided.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROTECTION OF FLOORINGS IN SHIPPING CONTAINERS

An exemplary approach for protecting floorings in containers may utilize a first ledger attached to an upper portion of a first support beam associated with a foundational base assembly. A portion of the first ledger may protrude outward in a first horizontal direction from the upper portion of the first support beam. A second ledger may be attached to an upper portion of a second support beam next to the first support beam. A portion of the second ledger may protrude outward in a second horizontal direction from the upper portion of the second support beam. The second horizontal direction may face the first horizontal direction. A support panel may be placed on top of the portion of the first ledger and the portion of the second ledger. The support panel may have a length proximate to a distance between the first support beam and the second support beam.

Apparatus and method for lowering a column section

The jacking system and method for using it to lower an upper column section without the use of a crane is provided. The jacking system is configured to be disposed on a roof of a cold box module and may include: a structural assembly; and a plurality of suspension rods supported at an upper end by the structural assembly, wherein the plurality of suspension rods is configured to provide support to the upper column section.

Method for constructing a cold box module

A method for constructing a cold box module and resulting apparatus is provided. The method can include providing a cold box module having framing and an upper and lower module sections, introducing an upper column section longitudinally into the upper module section while the upper module section is substantially horizontal; introducing a lower column section longitudinally into the lower module section while the lower module section is substantially horizontal; releasably attaching the lower column section to the lower module section using shipping saddle spacers and support saddles; and attaching a skirt attachment to the lower column section and the lower module section, wherein the skirt attachment is configured to limit longitudinal movement of the lower column section when the lower module section is in a horizontal position during transport. After erecting the cold box module at the installation site, the shipping saddle spacers can be removed and the upper column section is lowered using a jacking system located on the roof of the cold box module.

INJECTION MOLD AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DOUBLE WALLED DRINKING VESSEL, THE DOUBLE WALLED DRINKING VESSEL COMPRISING AN OUTER CONTAINER AND AN INNER CONTAINER

An injection mold for producing a double walled drinking vessel includes first and second mold portions. The first mold portion forms a first and second cavities corresponding to the outer shape of the outer container and the outer shape of the inner container, respectively. The first and second cavities are located concentrically with respect to a central axis. An index plate is rotatable and axially movable along the central axis relative to the first mold portion. The index plate includes a first core and a second core. The first cavity has a first cavity injection gate for injecting mold material into the first cavity for forming the outer container. The second cavity has a second cavity injection gate for injecting mold material into the second cavity for forming the inner container. The first cavity has a further injection gate for injecting joint material for joining the outer and inner containers.

Method for installation of a cryogenic distillation apparatus

A method for installation of a cryogenic distillation apparatus is provided. The method can include the steps of: providing an upper module section having an upper column section disposed within and secured to the upper module section, wherein the upper module comprises a roof; providing a lower module section having a lower column section disposed within and secured to the lower module section; erecting the lower module section from a horizontal position to a vertical position at an installation site; lifting the upper module section from a horizontal position and attaching the upper module section, while in a vertical position, to a top portion of the lower module section; lowering the upper column section, independent of the upper module section, toward the lower column section; and welding the upper column section and the lower column section together.
