The invention relates to modular elements for building a storage basin, to a network obtained by assembling a plurality of modular elements, to a supporting structure, to a storage basin and to a process for obtaining a storage basin. The modular element according to the invention is provided in the interior with a network element constituted by main half joints (10), secondary half joints (11) and tertiary half joints (10), vertical channels (8,15), oblique channels (9), compartments (18), and is provided with joint elements (16,17). The network comprises horizontal annular channels and main, secondary and tertiary joints connected by vertical and oblique channels. The storage basin comprises a supporting structure at the interior of an insulating structure obtained by assembling the modular elements. The process for obtaining a storage basin comprises the assemblage of the modular elements and casting the hardening material in the network obtained by assembling the modular elements, forming the supporting structure.

Systems and methods for protection of floorings in shipping containers

An exemplary approach for protecting floorings in containers may utilize a first ledger attached to an upper portion of a first support beam associated with a foundational base assembly. A portion of the first ledger may protrude outward in a first horizontal direction from the upper portion of the first support beam. A second ledger may be attached to an upper portion of a second support beam next to the first support beam. A portion of the second ledger may protrude outward in a second horizontal direction from the upper portion of the second support beam. The second horizontal direction may face the first horizontal direction. A support panel may be placed on top of the portion of the first ledger and the portion of the second ledger. The support panel may have a length proximate to a distance between the first support beam and the second support beam.

Combination tank

The invention relates to a combination tank having a double-walled inner container for temperature-insulated accommodation of a cryogenic fluid, which inner container has an approximately circular cylindrical cross-section and is closed off with end-side caps, wherein an outer container for accommodating at least one operating material is configured around the inner container, which outer container has a jacket having an approximately rectangular cross-section and end walls supported on the inner container, which end walls either sit in the gussets that remain between inner container and jacket, or are touched or penetrated by the caps of the inner container.

Offset laminate seam system for storage bins
09694971 · 2017-07-04 ·

An offset laminate seam system for storage bins for increasing the capacity of bolts in a seam of a storage bin. The offset laminate seam system for storage bins generally includes three or more panels connected together with two or more vertical rows of end fasteners to form a vertical seam. The interconnection of three or more panels continues to form a ring structure. A plurality of the ring structures are stacked upon one another and attached together with fasteners to form the wall of the storage bin and a roof is attached to the uppermost ring structure.

A flexible fluid storage tank and method for assembling said tank, with specific emphasis on a system that may be easily road transported and field assembled with little or no tools, while preserving the flexibility of being tailored in size, shape and configuration to the user's needs with minimal customization and disassembly capabilities.

MULTIPLE-SHELL TANK AND HEAT INSULATION MATERIAL SUPPLY METHOD FOR MULTIPLE-SHELL TANK

A multiple-shell tank includes: an inner tank that stores a liquefied gas; an intermediate tank that covers the inner tank and forms a first heat insulating space between the intermediate tank and the inner tank; an outer tank that covers the intermediate tank and forms a second heat insulating space between the outer tank and the intermediate tank; and a communication part enabling an external space that is a space outside the multiple-shell tank and the first heat insulating space to communicate with each other.

Shipping system for temperature-sensitive materials

Shipping system for temperature-sensitive materials. In one embodiment, the shipping system includes a frame defining an enclosure. The frame includes a bottom, a top, a front, a rear, a left side, a right side, a left corner gusset, and a right corner gusset. The front serves as a door. Thermal breaks are provided in one or more of the bottom, the front, the left corner gusset, and the right corner gusset. Vacuum insulated panels are positioned along all sides of the frame. Many of the vacuum insulated panels are encapsulated between the frame and an outer shell. A plurality of phase-change material assemblies are positioned within the frame along all sides. Heat-spreaders are positioned interior to the phase-change material assemblies. The shipping system are dimensioned so that four such shipping systems are seated on a prorate manual cargo sheet.
