Paraffin deposition inhibitor coatings
A containment for crude oil that inhibits paraffin deposition thereon is described. One to twenty coatings of a composition including a polyacrylate are applied to a crude oil contact surface of a crude oil containment; the polyacrylate includes at least about 50 mole % acrylic acid residues or the conjugate base thereof. The coating compositions are suitably delivered from a water dispersion, solution, or emulsion and dried before applying a subsequent coating. Each of the one to twenty coatings are formed from the same or from different polyacrylate coating compositions. The coated containment surfaces inhibit deposition of at least 10 wt % and as much as 90 wt % of paraffin solids from a crude oil compared to the same crude oil contact in the absence of the one to twenty coatings. The coatings inhibit paraffin deposition at temperatures between about 60 C. and 40 C.
SECONDARY CONTAINMENT
This patent pertains to secondary containment systems. One implementation includes a support assembly that includes an elongate post member and a stabilization plate. In one instance, a stabilization plate is mounted on the elongate post member to reduce movement of the elongate post member when the stabilization plate is embedded in the ground. Another implementation includes a panel splice assembly including reinforcing members that secure overlapping, corrugated panels.
Pre-assembled, self contained, portable fluid storage tank and method of handling flowback fluids from a hydrocarbon production operation using said tank
Pre-assembled, self-contained, portable tank and method of using the tank for storing backflow fluids during hydrocarbon production operations. Tank is rapidly deployable and has a collapsible and refillable bladder for storing approximately 50,000 gallons or 1200 BBLS of fluids and a secondary containment with a holding capacity 120% of that of the bladder. When closed for transport, the tank is sufficiently compact and light to be movable with a light body pickup truck with an accompanying trailer over public roadways. After delivery to a site, a crew of two to five persons can set-up the tank for use within about 20 to 120 minutes.
THERMAL LINER FOR TRANSPORTING GOODS
A thermal liner relates to the field of thermal insulation in the transportation of freight, and comprises a heat-insulating material, in which the components are hermetically connected to each other, wherein the liner matches the inner shape of a container, has a front wall that opens, and has fastening elements along an upper perimeter, which are designed to allow the insert to be fastened in a container using a cord and inner eyes of the metal container, wherein the thermal liner is made of a combination of materials, and the heat-insulating material used is metallized, laminated, expanded polyethylene and black polyethylene film which provides the required temperature difference between the outside temperature and the inside temperature, and helps lower the thermal conductivity
CONTAINER FOR HOLDING LIQUID
There are provided a liquid vessel which is capable of being configured in a large size of prefabricated form, and a method for producing a glass product.
A liquid vessel for holding a liquid, comprising at least a first member, a second member and a third member; and a first engageable portion and a second engageable portion being configured such that the first member and the second member are brought into contact with each other to be engaged, and a third engageable portion being configured such that the third member is brought into contact with the first member and the second member in a direction intersecting an engagement direction of the first member and the second member to be engaged with the first member and the second member.
Modular tanks
A modular tank comprises one or more wall modules coupled together and one or more liner bags supported by the one or more wall modules for the containment of liquid, in particular water. The wall modules can be planar or curved and the edges of the wall modules are coupled together via joining members. The modular tank comprises one or more layers of the wall modules. One or more of the wall modules comprise a hole and the one or more liner bags, which can be coupled together, comprise one or more parts that protrude through the holes in the wall modules to support the liner bags.
ASSEMBLY OF AN INLINER AND A TANK CONTAINER
The invention relates to an assembly (10) of a tank container (20), an inliner (40) and a connection unit (60) for the transport and/or storage of a liquid. The inliner is present in the tank container and the outlet of the inliner is connected to the drain hole (25) of the tank container. A connection unit is present that secures the connection of both outlets and at the same time provides a liquid tight and an air tight connection with an external unit for the delivery or discharge of the liquid contents.
A FLEXIBLE TANK
The present invention relates to a flexible tank wherein liquid can be stored and which can transport liquid from one location to another location by means of a vehicle and having a lower compartment and an upper compartment positioned one above the other. As an improvement, said flexible tank comprises at least one tank body formed by at least one flexible wall joined in a manner forming a flexible pipe-like form and at least one folding region having at least one first folding line and at least one second folding line provided such that a passage throttle is defined in between.
Rigid container for a flexible pouch for holding a biopharmaceutical fluid, assembly comprising such a flexible pouch and such a container, and method for using such a container
The container includes a lower wall and an erect side wall limiting an upper opening of a housing for accommodating a flexible pouch containing a fluid; containment elements including a containment wall, the gap between its peripheral edge and the side wall being limited; the containment wall adapted to be applied against the pouch and held fixed in this position by holding elements arranged in the container and borne by the containment elements by a structural and functional combination, and being movable between an inactive retracted state and an active expanded state, in which a distal end part is either moved away from the side wall or applied there against without any chance of sliding; and adapted to be applied at any desired location of a zone of the side wall such that the containment wall can be applied and held against the pouch regardless of how full the latter is.
Use of a coating agent composition for lining containers
The invention relates to the use of a coating agent composition for lining containers as well as a method for cleaning a container that has a corresponding lining and in which at least one product has been stored and/or transported.
