The present invention relates to a display device including a communicator configured to communicate with an external apparatus that operates for a workout of a user; a display configured to display an image; and a controller configured to determine workout conditions of the user, and control the communicator to transmit a control signal to the external apparatus so that the display can display a corresponding image and the external apparatus can change the operation in accordance with the determined workout conditions of the user.

An autonomous picture production system for automatically capturing an image of a location within a spectator seating area of a stadium upon request of a spectator includes one or more motorized cameras, an external interaction device for receiving an external request from the spectator, a camera control device for determining an optimal camera from the one or more motorized cameras for capturing the image, the camera control device controlling the optimal camera to capture the image, and a database for storing the image, wherein the external interaction device informs the spectator how to retrieve the image from the database.

A helmet for protecting a wearer's head. The helmet includes an outer shell including a first shell member and a second shell member movable relative to one another in a longitudinal direction of the helmet to adjust a fit of the helmet on the wearer's head. The helmet includes an adjustment mechanism configured to control movement of the first shell member and the second shell member relative to one another. The adjustment mechanism includes an actuator movable between a first position in which the first shell member and the second shell member are allowed to move relative to one another and a second position in which the first shell member and the second shell member are precluded from moving relative to one another. The actuator is configured to lock the first shell member and the second shell member relative to one another without extending through a given one of the first shell member and the second shell member.

A camera for facilitating autonomous picture production includes an imager for capturing an image stream, a signal processor for processing the image stream into a plurality of image data paths, at least one image stream output, and a memory for cyclically buffering images of at least two of the plurality of image data paths, into separate circular buffers, respectively, and for buffering one or more output image streams of the camera. A camera for facilitating autonomous picture production produces a standard resolution and rate image stream and a slow-motion image stream of an action of interest.

A horse training goggle assembly includes a pair of goggles that may be worn by a jockey riding a horse during race training. The goggles have a frame and a lens that is removably positioned in the frame. A tracking unit is coupled to the goggles and the tracking unit is in electrical communication with a global positioning system (GPS) to identify a physical location of the jockey. Moreover, the tracking unit calculates a speed and direction of the horse during the race training. A display is embedded within the lens and the display is visible to the jockey when the goggles are worn. The display displays indicia in the lens and the display is electrically coupled to the tracking unit to display data relating to the speed and direction of the horse. A communication unit is coupled to the goggles for verbal communication between the jockey and the trainer.

A balance chair, comprising a seat, an in substance vertical height element supporting the seat, and a base supporting the height element and seat, distinctive in that the balance chair comprises a rotation and tilt element, arranged in a position in substance midway between the seat and a lower end of the base.

Disclosed are apparatuses and methods useful for providing a visual indication to the rider of a horse of one or more inputs, such as the pitch of the head of a horse. The apparatuses and methods are useful in connection with the sport of dressage. The rider can be notified of a position or orientation of the horse's head, of rein tension, of the rider's body position or orientation, of a current location within a course or routine, of a warning, or of other information. The visual indication can be in the form of an illuminated light source.

Embodiments of a glove including a cut out portion and a reinforcing panel are described herein. In many embodiments, a glove comprises a glove body with a dorsal side, a palmar side, a plurality of finger portions, a thumb portion, and a wrist portion. The wrist portion defines a glove opening in communication with an interior portion defined within the glove body. A reinforcing panel is secured on an outer surface of a palm portion adjacent the wrist portion of the glove body. A cut out portion defines an opening formed through the reinforcing panel and in communication with the interior portion of the glove body to minimize bunching up of the glove body. A helmet including a head-facing portion with an exterior surface and an antimicrobial coating applied thereto. The antimicrobial coating includes a silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof. Exemplary silane quaternary ammonium ions or salts thereof include: 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride, 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, and 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride.
