Above ground water tank fill/drain system
10239687 · 2019-03-26 ·

A trench is dug under an above ground water storage tank either before erection of the walls or after the wall is erected. A (rectangular) sump is preferably made of ? inch steel. It serves as a conduit from an inner tank liner port to an outside tank fill or drain port. The system eliminates hoses hung over the top edge of the tank wall. A pump can fill the tank from the outer port. The tank can be drained using head pressure of the water and/or a pump.

Barrier system

A barrier system comprising: an elongate and rigid base member having a channel defined by inner walls of the base member, the channel extending along the length of the base member, the rigid base member being adapted to be anchored to an underlying supporting surface wherein the channel comprises a relatively broader in-use lower portion with a first width (w1) and a relatively narrower in-use upper portion with a second width (w2) defining an opening into the channel; and a removable wall assembly adapted to be removably fastened relative to the base member, the removable wall assembly comprising a flexible barrier wall having a length and a height and being adapted to be positioned within the opening of the upper portion of the channel wherein the wall assembly comprises a frame assembly for framing the barrier wall, the flexible frame assembly further comprising a top frame member and a bottom frame member with the height of the flexible barrier wall extending therebetween and wherein the bottom member is dimensioned to have a thickness that is less than or equal to w1 and that is greater than w2 for allowing the bottom member be received into the lower portion of the channel to position the flexible barrier wall in a substantially upstanding position and for simultaneously preventing the bottom member from being passed through the opening defined by the upper portion of the channel in an upwardly direction.

Multi-layered elastomer-based liners

The present disclosure relates to multi-layered elastomer-based liners. In at least one embodiment, a coated substrate includes a substrate and a first elastomer coating disposed on the substrate. The first elastomer coating is substantially free of sulfur and includes a first elastomer selected from the group consisting of a polyurea, a polyurethane, a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer, and combinations thereof. The coated substrate includes a second elastomer coating disposed on the first coating. The second elastomer coating includes a second elastomer selected from the group consisting of a polyurea, a polyurethane, a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer, and combinations thereof. The first elastomer is the same as or different than the second elastomer and at least one of the first elastomer or the second elastomer is a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer.

PORTABLE CONTAINMENT SYSTEM FOR HAZARDOUS OR OTHER MATERIALS
20190077590 · 2019-03-14 ·

An apparatus includes a containment structure having a floor and one or more free-standing flexible walls extending along an outer perimeter of the floor and surrounding a central portion of the floor. The floor includes one or more pieces of fabric, and each free-standing flexible wall includes one or more pieces of shape memory material and extending above the floor. The one or more pieces of shape memory material are attached to the one or more pieces of fabric via a liquid-impervious material applied to the one or more pieces of fabric along the outer perimeter of the floor. The liquid-impervious material is located on the one or more pieces of fabric and the one or more pieces of shape memory material such that the floor and the one or more free-standing flexible walls are liquid-impervious and define a space configured to retain liquid in the containment structure.

An environmental containment device includes a baseplate extending a longitudinal length and two ends disposed at opposing ends of the longitudinal length. The baseplate has two longitudinal edges extending along the longitudinal length and two lateral edges extending along a lateral width of the baseplate. A flexible sidewall can extend along at least a portion each of the lateral edges and vertically extend away from the baseplate a second predetermined distance. The baseplate flexible sidewall collectively define a containment space.
