UNDERWATER STORAGE TANK AND FILL CONTROL MECHANISM
A liquid storage tank comprising an outer container wherein the outer container is rigid and has at least one inner container disposed within the outer container. The at least one inner container contains at least one stored liquid which may be refilled from a surface vessel or host facility. The at least one inner container is flexible and pressure balanced while the volume of the outer container remains fixed, and the volume of the at least one inner containers is variable. Disposed on the outer container is a balance assembly containing an isolation valve, a check valve, and a flexible bladder. The balance assembly allows for the hydrostatic pressure to be maintained during chemical dosing and tank raising operations.
Transporting and disposing of recalled airbag inflators
Embodiments described herein include systems and methods for safely transporting and disposing of airbag inflators. For example, a container is provided that can hold multiple airbag inflators and withstand inflator explosion resulting in failure of the metal inflator housing. The container can contain the inflator and any shrapnel associated with the explosion while also venting gases expelled as a result of the explosion. Various container designs are provided, along with methods for using these containers.

Pressure relief valve
A pressure relief valve for pressure equalization between an essentially closed space and the surrounding atmosphere is disclosed. The pressure relief valve includes a valve housing with: a cylindrical wall defining a flow passage, a valve body arranged to cooperate with a valve seat arranged in the outflow of the valve housing, a stem configured for axial guidance of the valve body, a lifting element or plate arranged further down in the flow passage relative to the valve seat, a flow constriction defining an essentially truncated conically shaped interior and arranged to encircle the lifting element such that a radial passage between the lifting element and flow constriction increase when the lifting element and the valve body is moved from a closed state of the pressure relief valve towards an open state of the pressure relief valve.

Surge Suppression Apparatus for Railroad Tank Car
A surge suppression apparatus configured to be installed inside a railroad tank car and diffuse (or suppress) pressure surges caused by sloshing waves (liquid) within the railroad tank car is described herein. The surge suppression apparatus may comprise a main body defining a fluid path extending between a first end and a second end of the apparatus and having louver openings in sides of the main body that are formed by louver portions that are bent and extend inwardly away from the sides of the main body. These openings may include sets of openings on opposite sides of the main body. The apparatus may be mounted inside the railroad tank car such that the sides of the apparatus having openings are perpendicular to a direction of travel for the railroad tank car (i.e., such that the openings face the direction of the sloshing liquid).

Flameless venting system
The disclosure relates to a flameless venting system, along with associated devices and methods. In one aspect, the disclosure is directed to a flameless venting system having a curved flange, which may allow the system to mount directly to the curved surface of a vessel. In another aspect, a disclosed flameless venting system has a curved filter exit. In still another aspect, a disclosed flameless venting system may be configured such that a flame-arresting quenching body component may be joined to a vessel prior to installation of an explosion panel component. In addition, a quenching body component may be configured to provide access to its interior, to facilitate inspection, replacement, or maintenance of an explosion panel contained therein.
Pressure regulated volume exchange container
A pressure regulated volume exchange container includes a container body for holding both a first fluid and a second fluid, the container body defining a first volume portion and a second volume portion, a movable barrier disposed within the container body, the barrier configured to adjust the size of the first and second volume portions, an outlet in the container body through which the first fluid is extracted from the first volume portion, an inlet in the container body through which the second fluid is introduced into the second volume portion, and, an actuator mechanism operably connected to the movable barrier, the mechanism for moving the barrier within the container body in response to extraction of fluid from, or introduction of fluid to, the container body, wherein said actuator mechanism moves said movable barrier so as to maintain a predefined pressure within the first volume portion.
