Interactive multi-chamber container
A multi-chamber container with an educational function. The multi-chamber container is designed to provide a housing, with a sidewall extending between a bottom wall and a top wall, that can store food or beverage substances therein. The housing includes a primary chamber and at least one secondary chamber. The primary chamber is accessible via a primary opening, while each secondary chamber is individually accessible via a secondary opening. The container provides an educational function in that the primary chamber stores a desired liquid or solid material and the secondary chamber is empty. The primary and secondary openings are Indistinguishable to the consumer until opened from a closed state. The selection of the primary opening corresponds to a correct answer to a question displayed on, or associated with, the container.
TUMBLER LID
A lid for a drinking vessel is described. In one embodiment, the lid is an insulated lid configured to engage an opening of a container, where the lid is configured to at least partially retain the liquid within the container. The lid may further include a first opening for exposing the contents of the container to the atmosphere and for drinking from the container if desired. Additionally, the first opening may include an insert designed to reduce the heat transfer between the interior and exterior of the container, while in other embodiments aiding in the equalization of pressure between the interior and exterior of the container. Other aspects and embodiments of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description, drawings, and claims.
A PACKAGING MATERIAL AND A METHOD FOR PROVIDING A PACKAGING MATERIAL
A packaging material, including a laminate with a core material layer and having a plurality of delimited areas intended to form faces of a package is provided. At least one delimited area is provided with at least one pre-laminated hole and at least one compressed feature arranged adjacent to the pre-laminated hole. The at least one feature may include at least one line extending along at least a part of the perimeter of the pre-laminated hole.
ACCESS SYSTEM FOR SELECTIVELY ACCESSING THE CONTENTS OF A CONTAINER
An access system for selectively accessing the contents of a container is provided. The access system embodies an access hole communicating through a lid of a container into the containing cavity. The access system may also embody an access tab with an adhesive layer that fastens to the lid so as to seal the access hole, whereby an operative end of the access tab not providing the adhesive layer is disposed near the periphery of the container, and wherein there is a gap between the operative end and the lid so that the access tab is peelable between a closed condition sealing the access hole and an open condition providing selective access to the contents of the cavity only through the access hole.
Anti-spill disposable drink through cup lid
This invention relates to anti-spill disposable and reusable drink-through lids for hot and cold disposable and reusable beverage cups. The present invention is directed to drink-through lids which may be placed over and attached to disposable and reusable beverage cups and which provides a drink-through opening near the perimeter of the lid's top surface for easy drinking. The drink-though lid can accommodate a consumer's lips or a beverage disposable or reusable straw. When used with a straw, the lid and straw combination creates a spill-proof seal.
Pump Dispenser and System Comprising a Refill Cartridge and the Pump Dispenser
Disclosed is a pump dispenser comprising: a body defining a hollow interior and an opening through which at least a portion of a refill cartridge containing a flowable substance is receivable into the hollow interior; a lid; and a pump for pumping the flowable substance from the refill cartridge when the portion of the refill cartridge is in the hollow interior and the lid closes the opening. The lid comprises a dip tube with a lumen fluidly connected to the pump, the dip tube has a tapered end located in the hollow interior when the lid closes the opening. At least one of the body and the lid has a grip on an exterior surface thereof for aiding relative movement of the body and the lid to access the hollow interior when the lid closes the opening. Also disclosed is a system comprising the pump dispenser and the refill cartridge.
No-spill drinking container
A liquid container lid assembly includes a straw having an internal one-way valve and a grommet seal for sealing against the straw. As a result, the disclosed liquid container lid assembly allows a consumer (such as a child) to drink from the straw while preventing accidental spillage without the need for the child to manipulate any part of the lid assembly (such as a lock or valve release). In other words, the liquid container lid assembly is always in a no-spill configuration while simultaneously allowing a consumer to drink from the straw.
Multi-compartment snack storage and dispensing appliance
A food and beverage Appliance enables storage and consumption of a food and beverage snack, such as cereal and milk, in a portable form factor suitable to consume the snack while in motion or during or after traveling. The Appliance stores the food and beverage separately to preserve the crispiness and freshness. It dispenses the food and beverage separately and non-simultaneously to preserve the crispiness and freshness until tasting, and to allow the user to control exactly the size of each portion dispensed. The Appliance prevents leakage of the beverage out it its container, during filling, storage, traveling, or dispensing, to avoid getting the food soggy prior to dispensing and to avoid messes. It is also ideal for a use in and creating a new revenue category for restaurants and for pre-packaged retail applications.
Integrated straw and receptacle system
An integrated system that includes a container configured to store a consumable liquid and a flexible, expandable straw secured to the inside of the container for consumption of the liquid. The straw can assume a first collapsed position inside the container and a second expanded position (e.g., when pulled) that extends away from the bottom of the container and past an upper rim of the container for consumption of the liquid through the straw. Use of a flexible, expandable straw in the above manner facilitates stackability of a plurality of such containers by allowing the straw to initially be compactly stored adjacent an inside bottom of the container before being pulled outwardly to allow for consumption of the beverage in the container. Securement of the straw to the inside of the container reduces the likelihood of ingestion by animals and the like.
