Irreversibly Attachable Drinking Straws and Methods of Use Thereof
Provided is an assembly that includes a container with an opening for holding a volume of a liquid, a lid, and a connector attaching the container and the lid. Such an assembly can be used as a beverage container with an attached lid. Provided are methods of using such an assembly, such as by placing a liquid into the container and moving the lid so that it covers the opening. Provided are methods of making the assembly, such as by forming it as a single piece. The assemblies can be dimensioned such that can be placed adjacent to one another in a packaging while also occupying a minimum amount of space.
Cup with hole: apparatus and methods
A cup with hole apparatus and method comprising the parts and the steps to create a beverage cup that is inexpensive to purchase, ship, and use within a standard restaurant. One of these parts is a container that, when not assembled with other parts, cannot contain liquid due to multiple openings of different sizes. At least one of these openings is relatively smaller than the rest, and is only suitable to be used for drinking purposes. The other relatively larger openings can be used for filling purposes. A single-use beverage cup is created when: 1. A removable part is used to plug the relatively smaller opening; 2. The resulting container is filled via one of the relatively larger openings; 3. Once filled, permanent parts are used to plug all of the unplugged openings; 4. A drinker dislodges the removable part to drink from the smaller opening; and 5. Refilling the cup via the unplugged smaller opening is difficult.
Container cover, dispenser and method of use
A container cover and dispenser system is disclosed herein. The cover fits over a container and allows a user to access contents through an opening. The cover may include a notch to leave an open section for a user to access the contents. The dispenser may hold a roll of container covers that may be pulled out and individually removed from the roll. The dispenser may include a protrusion to create a tab and notch design on the removed covers to facilitate users' access of the contents.
Lid for a Beverage Cup Including a Snack Storage Reservoir
A lid for a beverage cup includes: (a) a radial collar configured to engage with a rim of a drinking cup mouth, having an inner radial surface and an outer radial surface; (b) an outer reservoir wall extending axially upward from the outer surface of the radial collar and enclosing a reservoir chamber above the radial collar, and including an upper rim; (c) a reservoir floor extending radially inward from an upper end of the inner surface of the radial collar and substantially closing the reservoir chamber from below the reservoir floor, the floor including a fluid path opening providing at least part of a fluid path extending upward through the reservoir chamber, the fluid path opening being positioned along a first diametrical line extending through the reservoir chamber; (d) an inner wall separating the fluid path from the reservoir chamber substantially in the shape of an upside-down funnel extending upward from the floor, having a minor diameter extending above a vertical level of the upper rim of the outer reservoir wall to form a spout; and (e) a cap connected to the upper rim of the outer wall with a first living hinge and including a first segment with a hole adapted to receive the spout.
Container Cap
A cap for a container holding a liquid for medical use comprises a lid portion and an aperture for receiving a tube. The aperture comprises a slot with first and second ends. The width of the slot is smaller than the length between the first and second ends and the slot tapers from the first end towards the second end. Preferably, a gripping feature such as a protruding rim around the perimeter of the aperture is provided to engage the surface of a tube passing through the aperture.
Product Lid Dispensing System
A product lid dispensing system includes a number of lid members. The number of lid members are all of the same size, shape and construction. Thus, the number of lid members are placeable into a stacked configuration. Each lid member includes a protrusion that extends upward relative to the base of the lid member. The protrusion may be grasped by a user. When the protrusion of a target lid member is grasped by the user, pressure is applied to the underlying protrusion to assist the user in removing the target lid member from the remaining lid members.
DRINK CUP LID
A container includes a cup and a lid. The lid is adapted to mate with a brim included in the cup to close a top aperture opening into an interior liquid-storage region formed in the cup.
Lid for beverage containers
Lids for a container having an external peripheral rim at the upper end thereof, the lid comprising a top wall; a peripheral skirt depending downward from the top wall and having a bottom-most edge larger in diameter than the rim of the container and an inside surface with a locking mechanism disposed between the bottom-most edge and the top wall and being adapted to receive and engage the rim; and a plurality of slots defined in skirt extending upward from the bottom-most edge to divide the skirt into individually resiliently flexible skirt portions.
Pump dispenser and system comprising a refill cartridge and the pump dispenser
Disclosed is a pump dispenser comprising: a body defining a hollow interior and an opening through which at least a portion of a refill cartridge containing a flowable substance is receivable into the hollow interior; a lid; and a pump for pumping the flowable substance from the refill cartridge when the portion of the refill cartridge is in the hollow interior and the lid closes the opening. The lid comprises a dip tube with a lumen fluidly connected to the pump, the dip tube has a tapered end located in the hollow interior when the lid closes the opening. At least one of the body and the lid has a grip on an exterior surface thereof for aiding relative movement of the body and the lid to access the hollow interior when the lid closes the opening. Also disclosed is a system comprising the pump dispenser and the refill cartridge.
