LOCKABLE CLOSURE
Aspects of the present invention are directed to a child-proof cap that is easier to open for adults than traditional child-resistant closures, yet remains resistant to opening by children. The child-proof cap may be opened in a pull-and-flip motion with a single hand.
CHILD-RESISTANT CLOSURE DEVICE FOR A CONTAINER HAVING A TAPERED NECK PORTION
A child-resistant closure device for a rigid plastic container having a tapered neck section and method of manufacture. The device has a substantially circular neck and inner lid surface. The neck includes anchors which engage with nodes on the inner lid surface. The tapered section of the neck acts as a spring engaging the nodes with the anchors. The closure device may be engaged by rotating the lid in relation to the neck. To disengage the closure device a simultaneous downward and rotational force must be applied. The lid and the container, including the closure, can be blow molded at the same time or separately.
CLOSURE ASSEMBLY AND CONTAINER PROVIDED WITH SAID CLOSURE ASSEMBLY
Closure assembly comprising a spout (1) and a cap (2) including a tamper-evident ring (3). The spout (1) has a neck (14) around a product passage (15) and a wall (10). The wall is spaced from the neck (14) to form an inner space (11) which is open from above to receive the tamper-evident ring (3). The tamper-evident ring (3) is integrally moulded via breakable bridges (34) to the cap and comprises a base portion (32) with at least one snap portion (33) at abase portion outer face (32a). The wall (10) of the spout (1) comprises at least one window (16), wherein the at least one snap portion (33) fits inside the window (16) to snap the tamper-evident ring (3) to the spout (1) when the tamper-evident ring (3) is inserted in the inner space (11).
Cap for closing a container comprising a neck delimiting an opening and method for manufacturing the same
Cap (1) for closing a container comprising a neck delimiting an opening, said cap (1) extending along a central axis (A) and comprising: a body part (2) molded from a thermoplastic material and including a top wall (5) and a skirt (15), a grip part (30) overmolded at least partly around the central axis (A), onto a part of the body part (2), from a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) which is softer than the thermoplastic material of the body part (2), wherein the grip part (30) is overmolded only onto a part of an outer surface (18) of the skirt (15), the grip portion being delimited along the central axis (A) by a top edge (32) arranged at a distance from the top wall (5), and a bottom edge (31) spaced apart from the top edge (32) towards a free end (16) of the skirt (15).
Closure Assembly
A closure including a base, a cutter and a cap is described which is configured to be attached to a container. Upon initial removal of the cap from the base, the cutter is configured to move downwards relative to the base so as to create an opening through the container. The portion of the container through which the cutter creates an opening may be formed of a film that is configured to be easily pierceable by the cutter. Methods of molding the closure components may include co-molding the cutter and base an in integral unit so as to facilitate and expedite assembly of the base, cutter and cap components to form the closure.
Lid for an opening device
A lid for an opening device for a container includes a body having a longitudinal axis and provided with an end wall and with a side wall internally provided with a thread element suitable for cooperating with a further thread element of a spout of the opening device, the lid further includes at least one driving element having a first side arranged to receive the fingers of a user during unscrewing of the lid from the spout and a second side arranged for receiving the fingers of a user during screwing of the lid on the spout, the first side being defined by a wall and the second side being defined by a cavity.
Container and Method of Forming a Container
An insulating container assembly can be configured to retain beverages and/or foods. The insulated container can include one of a plurality of container projections or grooves. A lid assembly can include one of a plurality of skirt grooves or projections, corresponding to the plurality of container projections or grooves of the insulated container. The lid assembly may be configured to lock in place on the container by engaging the plurality of skirt grooves or projections with the container grooves or projections when in the locked position.
STORAGE BAG WITH ELASTIC INTERLOCK CLOSURE
A reusable elastomeric bag includes a monolithic interlock closure system including a pair of interlock strips each of which includes a plurality of teeth sized and spaced to be received in a plurality of mating gaps. The interlock integrity is improved by a series of blocking ledges extending outward to block an interior end of the gaps. This serves to prevent movement of the teeth within the interlock plane. Where the interlock strips are secured at one or both lateral ends, the interlock integrity is improved be each strip including a curved end segment terminating at a common end point. The tangent to the end segments at this end point will make an angle to the interlock plane.
Opening Device for a Container and a Method for Producing Such Opening Device
An opening device for a container comprises a pouring spout defining a pouring opening to pour in use the content of the container, a closing element closing the pouring opening and connected to the pouring spout by a breakable connection, and a closure fitted to the pouring spout in a removable manner to close the pouring opening at a region thereof different from that closed by the closing element; the closing element is formed in one piece with a protruding portion extending through the pouring opening and welded to the closure far away from the closing element.
Powder Container and Method of Use
A materials containment canister comprising an optional lower cap with an upper thread, a body with multiple interior chambers and an upper cap with a lid, optional handle and orifice. The upper cap is capable of rotating to allow for the orifice to access individual chambers which can store materials.
