Closure
The present disclosure relates to a closure, especially a closure for packages for liquids such as beverages. In particular the invention relates to a closure for containers for carbonated liquids such as soft drinks. The closure comprises an outer shell with a reduced weight and a sealing means which actively compensates the deformation of the outer shell to avoid loss of performance.
CHILD RESISTANT CLOSURE AND SPOUT COMBINATION
A screw-top closure cap having a collapsible spout nesting within a cap and with a portion of the spout seated coaxially within the container neck itself is disclosed. Both the spout and the cap incorporate child-resistant features to prevent unwanted removal of the closure and/or use of the spout.
CLOSURE DEVICE FOR BOTTLES
A closure device (10) for bottles, for example containing cosmetic products, comprising a main body (11) with a first portion (11a) coupled to a threaded neck of the bottle or inserted with pressure into the bottle's neck and a second portion (11b) that has at least one hole or opening (12) for discharging the product; between said first (11a) and second portion (11b) of the main body (11) there is a peripheral portion (14), which extends externally to the first portion (11a), so as to entirely lean against an external wall of the bottle, and on which there are formed one or more holes, slits or shaped through-openings (15).
ERGONOMIC GRIP LID
Disclosed are various embodiments of a system and its components. The system includes a container and an ergonomic lid. The ergonomic lid includes a plurality of protrusions extending from an external surface of the ergonomic lid. The ergonomic lid also includes a closure mechanism located on an internal surface of the ergonomic lid configured to mechanically attach the ergonomic lid to the container.
Lockable closure
Aspects of the present invention are directed to a child-proof cap that is easier to open for adults than traditional child-resistant closures, yet remains resistant to opening by children. The child-proof cap may be opened in a pull-and-flip motion with a single hand.
Closure Structure And Container With Closure Structure
A closure structure includes a cap, and a spout having a mouth portion to which the cap is attached. The cap includes a top plate portion and a tube portion. The tube portion extends downward from a periphery of the top plate portion. The tube portion is divided into a main portion and a tamper evidence ring portion. The tamper evidence ring portion is connected to the main portion by a bridge. An inner-circumferential surface of the main portion is formed with a threaded portion. An outer-circumferential surface of the main portion is formed with an upper knurl and a side knurl. The upper knurl is formed at a position including an upper end of the outer-circumferential surface. The side knurl is formed at a position lower than the upper knurl.
The mouth portion includes a tubular portion and a flange portion. The tubular portion is formed with a male thread. The male thread is screwed into the threaded portion. The flange portion extends radially outward from the tubular portion. An outer-circumferential surface of the flange portion is in contact with the inner-circumferential surface of the main portion.
Tamper evidence container closure
A container closure and methods are disclosed for providing visible evidence of removal of the closure from a container after installation by a manufacturer. The closure includes tamper evidence bridges comprising small tabs of material that extend from a bottom-most edge of the closure to a tamper evidence ledge of the container. The bridges break when the closure is rotated relative to the tamper evidence ledge, thereby providing readily visible evidence that the closure has been removed after installation by the manufacturer. In some embodiments, a tamper evidence closure engages with threads of a finish of the container. Cam locks around the perimeter of the tamper evidence closure are permanently flared by cams on the finish during loosening of the closure. Outward flaring of the cam locks provides a visual indication that the tamper evidence closure has been loosened after installation by a manufacturer.
CLOSURE, CONTAINER, AND ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A closure (40) is provided for use in restricting access to a substance that may be stored within a container (44) having at least one laterally extending flange (76) located laterally outwardly of an opening (46) of the container (44). The closure (40) has a body (54) having a deck (58) including at least one orifice (60). The body (54) has an internal wall (62) depending from the deck (58) with means for attaching the closure (40) to the container (44) and the body (54) includes at least one torque rib (74) extending therefrom for confronting at least one laterally extending flange (76) of the container (44) to inhibit relative rotation between the body (54) and the container (44). The at least one torque rib (74) is non-planar.
Closure with hinge
A closure that remains coupled to a container after the upper portion of the closure has been rotatably removed from the container. The closure may include an attachment channel, which includes alternating segments of linear openings and frangible connections. The attachment channel may also include two hinge bridges that remain unbroken when one or more of the frangible connections are broken.
