The wall is spaced from the neck (14) to form an inner space (11) which is open from above to receive the tamper-evident ring (3). The tamper-evident ring (3) is integrally moulded via breakable bridges (34) to the cap and comprises a base portion (32) with at least one snap portion (33) at abase portion outer face (32a). The wall (10) of the spout (1) comprises at least one window (16), wherein the at least one snap portion (33) fits inside the window (16) to snap the tamper-evident ring (3) to the spout (1) when the tamper-evident ring (3) is inserted in the inner space (11).

Sealable Container System
20190119011 · 2019-04-25 ·

A sealable container system contains a body and a lid assembly. The body includes an internal volume defined by a bottom and side wall(s) and divot(s) with a cavity at an upper edge of and in an inside surface of the side wall. The lid assembly includes a lid with outer and inner walls at its bottom side with a channel in-between. A gasket couples to the lid with a wall portion residing within the channel and a lip outside the channel. When the lid assembly is pressed into the body, the lip of the gasket abuts the divots and forms a gap with the side wall, where air in the internal volume exits through the gap. When the lip travels past the divots, the lip fully seats against the inside surface of the side wall, and negative air pressure is imparted to the internal volume of the body.

Closure and feeding bottle incorporating it

Closures are provided consisting of a lid or cap member and a container member. These are inter-engageable with one another. The lid or cap member has a skirt and the container member has an upstanding rim, each of which is of generally polygonal (preferably square) shape. Located on each of the facing walls on each side of the polygonal shape are inter-engageable projections. The inter-engaging surfaces of the projections run substantially in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the polygonal shape and are of relatively small angular extent about that axis. The material of one or both of the skirt and container portion is resiliently elastic. The closure may be assembled with an axial push, and removed by twisting.
