Flip-top closure
A flip-top closure includes first and second polymeric closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a sealing mechanism and an annular skirt portion. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band. The closure portions are attached by a line of weakness. The closure portions are further attached via a hinge. The hinge includes a locking tab, a flexible tab and linking segments. The locking tab extends further outwardly from a center of the closure in a closed position than the flexible tab and the linking segments. During the opening of the flip-top closure, the locking tab moves and passes the flexible tab such that the flip-top closure locks in a fully open position.
CLOSING CAP FOR POURING HOLES FOR CONTAINERS HOLDING LIQUIDS
Closing cap for pouring holes for containers holding liquids. It comprises: a lower ring (1) with a first sector (9) intended to be retained axially in the hooking collar and a second sector (10); articulated with respect to the first sector (9); a top lid (2), foldable; a hinging element (3) with two elastic sheets (13); and a locking device to lock the lid (2) in the folded open position, with a flexible tab (14), between the two elastic sheets (13); and a heel (15) protruding radially outwards. The second sector (10) of the ring (1) further comprises a notch (16) for housing the heel (15) when the lid (2) is in the folded open position and with an inclination with respect to the ring (1) in the range of 90? to 179?.
CAP FOR CONTAINER
What is described herein is a closing cap for a container, comprising a lateral wall extending around an axis and a transversal wall positioned at one end of the lateral wall, a separating line being provided on the lateral wall to define a retaining ring, which comprises a retaining portion which extends as far as a free edge of the retaining ring and is configured to internally engage with a locking ring of a neck of the container, and a closing element removably engageable with the neck, so as to open or close the container. The separating line extends between a first end and a second end and is circumferentially interrupted to leave the closing element and the retaining ring joined. An incision line is provided on the lateral wall between the separating line and the free edge. The cap additionally comprises a tab, configured to rest on the neck when the closing element is in an open condition, and a pair of movement bands, that is to say, a first movement band and a second movement band which are defined between the separating line and the incision line and a pair of hinge bands, that is to say, a first hinge band and a second hinge band, which extend from the first movement band and from the second movement band towards the transversal wall, the tab being circumferentially interposed between the first hinge band and the second hinge band.
CAP FOR A CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CAP
A method for producing a cap for a container wherein the cap includes a retaining ring suitable for being associated with a neck of the container and a closure element hinged to the retaining ring for opening or closing an opening defined by the neck of the container. The method includes providing a cup-shaped body having a side wall extending about an axis and an end wall extending transversely to the axis, and cutting the side wall along a separation line for defining the retaining ring and the closure element such that during the cutting step there is interacting with the material forming the side wall along an angular extension of the side wall about the axis as to leave intact at least one connection band which connects the retaining ring to the closure element, and producing at least one delimitation line which laterally delimits the connection band.
ONE-TOUCH OPENABLE CAP
A one-touch openable cap includes: a base including coupling means coupled to a bottle, a ring connected to the coupling means and disposed with a space between the coupling means and the ring to be deformed by press forces from left and right sides so as to allow a front edge of the ring to be frontwardly pushed out, and a latch portion disposed on the front edge of the ring; and a lid portion pivotable relative to the base and including a body to cover the nozzle when the lid portion is closed, a claw disposed on the body and to be latched to the latch portion when the lid portion is closed. Upon press of the ring from the left and right sides, the ring is deformed, the claw is released from the latch portion, the lid portion pivots, and the nozzle is uncovered.
DRINK LID FOR A CUP
A recloseable lid for closing an open top of a cup terminating in an annular upper edge includes a cup mount defining an annular channel configured to receive the annular upper edge of the cup and a cap having an annular side wall extending upwardly from the cup mount and terminating in a top having an annular floor spaced above the cup mount. A drink opening is disposed in the top and a plug assembly having a drink opening plug is provided. The drink opening plug can be selectively moveable between a closed position in which the drink opening plug is received within the drink opening for closing the drink opening and an open position in which the drink opening plug is not disposed within the drink opening. The lid can also include a plug retainer disposed in the cap and configured to retain the drink opening plug in the open position.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER AND CONTAINER WITH SUCH A CLOSURE
The present invention relates to a closure for a container, wherein the closure comprises a base element and a flip-top lid attached to said base element by a hinge, such that the flip-top lid can be moved between an opened and a closed position, wherein said closure comprises a spout for dispensing a fluid material. Said spout has a first dispensing opening and a second dispensing opening, whereas said spout additionally comprises a vent opening. The present invention also relates to a system with a container and such a closure, wherein said closure is directly or indirectly attached or attachable to said container.
CAP FOR CONTAINER
A cap for a container is formed so that the cap has a top plate and a circular sidewall. Two opposite sides of the circular sidewall circularly connect to each other, one periphery of the circular sidewall connecting to one surface of the top plate forming a closed end, and another periphery of the circular sidewall at an opposite side of the closed end forms an opened end. Incisions are in the circular sidewall. The incisions form a ring member located at the opened end of the cap separated from a main body of the cap by a first incision and a second incision between the opened end of the main body and the ring member.
CLOSURE WITH HINGE
A closure that remains coupled to a container after the upper portion of the closure has been rotatably removed from the container. The closure may include an attachment channel, which includes alternating segments of linear openings and frangible connections. The attachment channel may also include two hinge bridges that remain unbroken when one or more of the frangible connections are broken.
