A closing cap for a container having a lateral wall and a transversal wall positioned at one end of the lateral wall, a separating line being provided on the lateral wall to define a retaining ring that is configured to internally engage with a stop ring of a neck of the container as to remain anchored to the neck, and a closing element removably engageable with the neck, so as to open or close the container. The separating line is circumferentially interrupted to define in the lateral wall a joining zone in which the retaining ring and the closing element are joined. The cap additionally includes an inner thread structure positioned on the inside of the lateral wall for engaging with an outer thread structure of the neck and removably coupling the closing element to the neck of the container.

The siplid comprises: a container side 4, a consumer side 6, and a siplid plane 12 having a siplid axis 14; an edge 8 configured for surrounding a container opening to cover the container opening; a drinking opening 18 in the siplid having a length L substantially extending in the circumferential direction of the siplid, and having a width W substantially extending in the radial direction of the siplid; a moveable tab 20 configured for covering the opening in a closed position; a recess 22 configured for receiving the moveable tab in an open position; a hinge 32 configured for enabling rotational movement of the tab around a hinge axis; and a section line 16 extending in the siplid plane dividing the opening in two equal parts, and a division line 34 in between the opening and the recess extending substantially perpendicular to the section line wherein the hinge axis is provided at a lid angle to the division line.

A closure device for a container having a neck including an annular flange, the closure device comprising: a cap body; a tamper evident (TE) band positioned below the annular flange when assembled in the container; a first hinge and a second hinge defined on the cap body; a leash connected to the TE band, the first hinge and the second hinge; the leash allowing for the cap body to be separated from the TE band during opening, but to remain connected thereto via the leash; a tongue protruding from the cap body between the first and second hinges; when the cap body is actuated from a closed configuration relative to the neck to a fully open position: the leash is configured to retain the cap body to the TE band; an interaction of the tongue and the neck is configured to retain the cap body in the fully open position.

Dispensing closure

A one-piece dispensing closure (10) for a pouch-like container (13) includes an integrally formed closure body (11), dispensing neck (30), hinged cap (20), a tamper-evident closure system (40) and a latch (62) for maintaining the cap (20) in an open position. The closure body (11) includes a canoe-shaped skirt portion (14) with opposing skirt walls (17,19) which are heat sealed to a film-like pouch (13) and a neck portion (30) having a dispensing orifice (34). The closure body (11) may further include reinforcing ribs (21) extending transversely between the skirt walls (17, 19) to provide support while the pouch is heat sealed to the skirt. A cap (20) is connected to the closure body (11) by a living hinge (26) to allow the user to selectively open and close the container. A tamper-evident tear strip (40) may be integrally formed with the neck portion (30). A locking tab (50) on the cap (20) engages a shoulder (42) on the tear strip (40) to prevent opening of the cap (20) without removing the tear strip (40).
