Twist and flip lock closure
A twist and flip closure includes first and second closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a skirt portion, and first and second frangible connections. The first frangible connection extends around the closure circumference. The second frangible connection has first and second sections. The second frangible connection is spaced from the first frangible connection. At least a portion of the second frangible connection is located further from the top wall portion than a portion of the first frangible connection. The second frangible connection defines an area adapted to form a tab. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band. The closure is adapted to be opened by twisting to break the frangible connections and expose the tab and then flipping the first closure portion from the second closure portion via the exposed tab. The closure is adapted to be locked when flipped.
LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY FOR A PACKAGE AND PACKAGE HAVING A LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY
A lid-spout assembly for a package having a main body comprising a designated pour opening and being filled with a pourable product. The lid-spout assembly comprises at least a spout having a pouring outlet, a lid configured to selectively close and open the pouring outlet and a tethering element tethering the lid to the spout and/or the main body. The spout comprises a base frame coupling and/or configured to couple the spout to the main body about the designated pour opening and a collar carrying and/or comprising the pouring outlet and being fixed to and protruding from the base frame. The lid is moveable at least in a closed position in which the lid closes and/or seals the pouring outlet and an open position in which the lid opens the pouring outlet. The lid comprises an interaction ridge being configured to interact with the collar so as to determine a closing force with the lid being arranged in the closed position for retaining the lid in the closed position.
Fan orifice dispensing closure
A dispensing closure for a squeeze-type container produces a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment. The dispensing closure includes a closure body having an upper deck and a skirt depending from the upper deck. The skirt is configured and arranged to attach to a product container, such as a squeeze-type container. A flow conduit extends from an interior of the closure body and through the upper deck to provide a flow path from an interior of the closure to an exterior of the closure. The flow conduit has an entrance orifice and an exit orifice. The flow conduit has an inner wall extending between the entrance orifice and the exit orifice. The flow conduit and the closure body are integrally formed. The flow conduit includes a tip portion with an exit orifice defining a shape to provide a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment.
CAP FOR A CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CAP
A cap for a container comprises: a retaining ring suitable for being associated with a neck of the container, the retaining ring extending about an axis; a closure element for opening or closing an opening defined by the neck of the container; a hinge structure interposed between the closure element and the retaining ring so as to allow the closure element to be rotated relative to the retaining ring.
The retaining ring and the closure element are separated by a separation line, which extends externally of the hinge structure.
The hinge structure comprises at least one connection band which connects the closure element to the retaining ring, the connection band being defined inside a recess provided in a side wall of the cap, the side wall extending about said axis.
Closure with Hinge
A closure that remains coupled to a container after the upper portion of the closure has been rotatably removed from the container. The closure may include an attachment channel, which includes alternating segments of linear openings and frangible connections. The attachment channel may also include two hinge bridges that remain unbroken when one or more of the frangible connections are broken.
TETHERED PLASTIC STOPPER
This invention relates to a tethered plastic stopper, having a tamper band positioned around the stopper, a closure shell positioned on top of the stopper above the tamper band, and a linking feature. The linking feature is configured to connect the tamper band to the closure shell, the linking feature including a first end configured to attach to the closure shell, a second end configured to attach to the tamper band, and a central portion. The central portion positioned between the first end and the second end, the central portion being situated furthest from the stopper when compared to the first end and the second end. The linking feature is positioned outside the periphery of the stopper and is configured to allow the central portion to flex during removal of the closure shell from a top of a bottle neck.
Assembly Comprising A Container And Plugging Device Attached To The Container
The invention relates to an assembly that includes: a container consisting of a neck fitted with a clamping collar, and a capping device that includes: a lower ring (9), a cap (1); an articulation device (10) that connects the cap (1) to the lower ring (9); and a locking device configured to lock the cap (1) in the tilted open position, said locking device consisting of a strip (23) and a protruding portion (24) axially protruding from the bottom ring (9); the strip (23) and the protruding portion (24) being configured in such a way that, when the cap (1) is in the titled open position, the protruding portion (24) is held between the strip (23) and the locking clamping collar.
TETHERED CONTAINER CLOSURE
A closure for closing an opening defined by a finish of a container. The closure includes a main body and a tamper band. The tamper band is connected to the main body by a plurality of bridges. A hinge of the closure is configured to permit the main body to pivot relative to the tamper band.
One-touch openable cap
A one-touch openable cap includes: a base including coupling means coupled to a bottle, a ring connected to the coupling means and disposed with a space between the coupling means and the ring to be deformed by press forces from left and right sides so as to allow a front edge of the ring to be frontwardly pushed out, and a latch portion disposed on the front edge of the ring; and a lid portion pivotable relative to the base and including a body to cover the nozzle when the lid portion is closed, a claw disposed on the body and to be latched to the latch portion when the lid portion is closed. Upon press of the ring from the left and right sides, the ring is deformed, the claw is released from the latch portion, the lid portion pivots, and the nozzle is uncovered.
CLOSURE CAP FOR A CONTAINER
The present invention provides a closure cap for a container comprising a lid and a shell, and a hinge region for pivotally connecting the lid to the shell and for locking the lid in an open position thereof. The lid comprises a top panel having a tongue adjacent the hinge region and a cylindrical wall suspended from a bottom face of the top panel and connected to the shell via a plurality of bridges which break upon a first opening of the lid. The hinge region comprises a pair of elongate hinge elements spaced apart from each other, and a ratchet-like member disposed therebetween.
