Fill nozzle pass through flame mitigation device for portable fuel container
A flame mitigation device (FMD) contained within the neck of a container and configured to allow the fuel nozzle to pass through the FMD. The FMD forming a barrier in the neck of the fill port and capable of constricting the fuel nozzle upon passing through the FMD to inhibit external debris from entering the interior of the portable container and to inhibit fuel from flowing back out of the fill port.
360 degree lid
A lid assembly includes an internal component assembly having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a button disposed at the first end. An external component receives the internal component assembly. The external component is configured for engaging a container. The internal component assembly cooperates with the external component to translate axially upon a first pressure to the button to permit a fluid to enter the external component adjacent the second end of the internal component assembly and to militate against the fluid to enter the external component adjacent the second end of the internal component upon a second pressure to the button.
Beverage container system and components
A lid for a beverage container may include an upper rim and a lower rim, an upper surface extending between the upper rim, a lid sidewall extending between the lower rim and the upper rim, a fitting including a resiliently compressible material positioned along the sidewall to sealingly engage with an inner surface of a sidewall of a vessel, a grip dimensioned to be grasped by a user to manipulate a position of the lid, and a nozzle extending from the upper surface of the lid.
BETA CONTAINER FOR AN ALPHA-BETA PORT SYSTEM
A beta container for an alpha-beta port system includes a sheath for receiving transport material and a flange part having a through opening for transferring the transport material from and/or into the sheath, a first interface for a reversible connection to an alpha connection of the port system, and a second interface for releasable attachment of a beta cover for closing the through opening. An edge of the sheath is connected with a first surface of a ring which encompasses a jacket surface of the flange part, the first surface and the jacket surface having different materials. An elastic bellows may be fastened to the flange part such that, in the relaxed state, it engages over the second interface and/or projects out of the through-opening on the side facing away from the sheath, and such that it can be compressed. At least one transponder for transmitting an identification may be arranged on the flange part.
CAP
A cap comprising a cap body including a top plate portion which is disk-shaped, and a skirt portion which is cylindrical and provided at a peripheral edge portion of the top plate portion, the top plate portion including a substrate and a resin coating film provided on a cap inner surface side of the substrate, the resin coating film including a polyester-based resin and a lubricant, and a sealing member provided in the cap body separately from the cap body so as to face the top plate portion, and having an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the skirt portion.
User-friendly tamper-resistant/tamper-evident container-seal system for containers of consumer goods and methods of use
The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer-product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user to better grip and/or exert force/leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. Specifically, it features an improved seal-removal assembly that provides a collapsible finger-receiving aperture that allows a user to insert at least one user finger (or an elongated tool, such as a writing utensil), and exert upward force to breach the container seal.
Tamper evident overcap for drums
A snap fitting, tamper evident overcap for drums and bung covers is described. The tamper evident strip is attached to a peripheral edge of the overcap, and it is removed by tearing along a vertical groove formed in the strip and then, by way of a grasping handle, rotationally pulling the strip so as to break the frangible bridge elements that previously held the strip to the overcap.
RECEPTACLE AND AUXILIARY CONTENTS HOLDING DEVICE
A receptacle includes a receptacle body including a space in which first contents is held and a coupling portion having an inlet, a receptacle stopper coupled to the coupling portion of the receptacle body, and a second contents holding portion including a holding part having an open upper part and holding second contents, a support portion located to surround the holding part to support the holding part, and a mounting portion connected to the support portion and coupled to an upper end of the coupling portion. The receptacle stopper includes: a cap portion, a protrusion located on an inner side surface of the cap portion and including first and second protrusion parts located to be spaced apart from an upper end of the cap portion by different distances, and a sealing portion located between an inner upper surface of the cap portion and the protrusion and sealing the holding part.
IMPROVED USER-FRIENDLY TAMPER-RESISTANT/TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER-SEAL SYSTEM FOR CONTAINERS OF CONSUMER GOODS AND METHODS OF USE
The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer/commercial product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user, and in particular older persons, to better grip and/or exert leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. In one embodiment of the improved TE seal, a typical prior-art seal configuration that features an inner seal with a small overlapping flexible pull-tab layer is improved by affixing the pull-tab to another substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can insert the pull-tab member between two of the user's fingers wherein the two user fingers are also disposed between the inner seal and the substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can more easily exert leverage/force to open the container that employs the tamper-resistant seal. This configuration is generally referred to as a “T-tab” configuration.
Thermal container
A thermal container includes a cover, a main body, an opening-closing assembly, and a sealing ring. The main body is formed with a storage space. The opening-closing assembly includes an upper connecting member that is hermetically connected to the cover and a lower connecting member that is hermetically connected to an opening of the storage space. Rear ends of the upper connecting member and the lower connecting member are pivotally connected together. Front ends of the upper connecting member and the lower connecting member are provided with a locking mechanism. The lower connecting member is formed with a through hole communicating with the storage space. The upper connecting member is provided with a protruding portion matching the through hole. The sealing ring is hermetically fitted between the through hole and the protruding portion.
