Flip-top closure
A flip-top closure includes first and second polymeric closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a sealing mechanism and an annular skirt portion. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band. The closure portions are attached by a line of weakness. The closure portions are further attached via a hinge. The hinge includes a locking tab, a flexible tab and linking segments. The locking tab extends further outwardly from a center of the closure in a closed position than the flexible tab and the linking segments. During the opening of the flip-top closure, the locking tab moves and passes the flexible tab such that the flip-top closure locks in a fully open position.
Package with closure
A package includes a container and closure. The container has a neck portion defining an opening. The container has an external thread formation and catch lugs. The closure fits to the neck portion for closing the opening. The closure includes first and second closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion and a skirt portion. The skirt portion depends from the top wall portion. The skirt portion includes an internal thread formation for mating engagement with the external thread formation. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band depending from and being partially detachably connected to the skirt portion by a frangible connection. An interior surface of the second closure portion includes catch teeth. The catch lugs mechanically catch and lock with a respective one of the catch teeth to prevent or inhibit the second closure portion from being removed during the opening of the container.
Package
A package includes a first side, a second side and a hinge. As the first side and the second side pivot around the hinge, the first side and the second side make transition between a closed state and an opened state. The first side includes a first fitting portion in a projecting shape, a rigid portion provided in a partial section on a line that goes around the first fitting portion, and a first weak portion provided in a remaining section on the line that goes around the first fitting portion and being lower in rigidity than the rigid portion. The second side includes a second fitting portion in a recessed shape and fitted to the first fitting portion in the closed state and a second weak portion provided on a line that goes around the second fitting portion and being lower in rigidity than the rigid portion.
CONTAINER FOR MEDICAL AND/OR PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS
The disclosure pertains to a container for storing medical and/or pharmaceutical products. The container includes a plastic container body comprising a side wall, a base and an opening defining a storage volume, a flange formed on the container body and configured to receive a connecting element of a cap provided with a tamper-evident mechanism, and an active insert placed within the container body. This container is an improved container for the storage of products. The disclosure also pertains to a sealed package comprising this container.
TAMPER EVIDENT CARTON
The folding carton having a tamper evident feature that includes a flap with at least one partial cut and a full cut.
Tamper-evident closure
A tamper-evident closure is provided and comprises a body and a separate plug member. The body has a sidewall including screw thread formations for screwing the closure onto a screw threaded container neck and the plug member is locatable on the neck to seal it. The closure comprises a tamper-evident member at least part of which is movable from a first position to a second position when the closure is unscrewed from the neck for the first time and, in use, when the body is unscrewed the body moves axially with respect to the plug member to cause the tamper-evident member to move from the first to the second position.
Smart Capsules
The technology relates to a cap 1 having a head 4 and a skirt 7 with a circumferential opening area 20 characterized in that the cap 1 may include a transponder 10 including and antenna circuit 14 and a leg circuit 17 the leg circuit 17 extending to the skirt 7 and being non-releasably affixed to the opening area 20, whereby the leg circuit 17 is breakable by disruption of the opening area 20. The transponder 10 stores and is able to transmit information on the integrity of the cap 1 to a reading device.
Drop dispensing closure
A one-piece dispensing closure for dispensing essential oils includes an integrally formed closure body, tubular dispensing spout, a hinged cap and a latch for maintaining the cap in an open position. The cap is connected to the closure body by a living hinge to allow the user to selectively open and close the container.
TAMPER-INDICATING CLOSURE
The invention relates to a closure for the pouring spout of a container, the closure comprising a closure cap (1) screwed onto the pouring spout (2) and comprising a tamper-indicating part (7) that, on unscrewing of the cap, bends away or breaks off or away when the closure cap (1) is unscrewed such that the tamper-indicating part (7) changes position relative to the closure cap (1), the outer surface of the tamper-indicating part (7) carrying information (8, 9) that is visible as long as the closure is in its unopened and intact condition and is no longer visible once the closure has been opened and the tamper-indicating part (7) has changed position.
Closure with 2-stage tag
A closure includes a top wall portion, an annular skirt portion depending from the top wall portion and a tamper-evident band. The skirt portion includes an internal thread formation. The tamper-evident band depends from and is at least partially detachably connected to the skirt portion by a frangible connection. The closure further includes a 2-stage tag imbedded therein. The 2-stage tag includes an antenna, a switch with a plurality of leads, and a chip or integrated circuit. The current path of the switch is interrupted after the tamper-evident band has been at least partially broken from the skirt portion. The chip stores first and second readable codes that correspond to unopened and opened positions. The frangible connection extends through the 2-stage tag and includes at least two bridges.
