A tamper evident container includes a cover with a first interlocking flange with a first tab for opening the container and a first extension joined to the first tab along a first frangible score line, a base with a second interlocking flange with a second tab for opening the container and a second extension joined to the second tab along a second frangible score line, a rim extending around a perimeter of the base, the rim having a flat portion connected to an outer wall, and a flange portion extending from the outer wall portion, wherein a position of the flat portion and the flange portion correspond to a sheet line, and wherein the first and second interlocking flanges, when securely fastened together, prevent access to the first and second tabs, and require more force to separate than to sever the first and second extensions along the frangible score lines.

Disclosed is a child-resistant beverage lid with a perforated seal strip, wherein a user can peel away the perforated seal strip and remove the child-resistant beverage lid.

A flip-top dispensing closure is provided. The closure includes a base and a lid. The base is attachable to a container neck and includes an integral spout. The lid includes a fixing ring and a cap. The fixing ring is attachable to the base and the cap is hingedly attached to the ring. The closure is provided with tamper-evident parts including first and second parts which are initially frangibly connected to each other within the lid, and upon first opening of the cap the first and second parts are separated, one of the parts being retained by the cap and the other of the parts dropping onto the base.

A package includes a first side, a second side and a hinge. As the first side and the second side pivot around the hinge, the first side and the second side make transition between a closed state and an opened state. The first side includes a first fitting portion in a projecting shape, a rigid portion provided in a partial section on a line that goes around the first fitting portion, and a first weak portion provided in a remaining section on the line that goes around the first fitting portion and being lower in rigidity than the rigid portion. A flip-top closure includes first and second polymeric closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a sealing mechanism and an annular skirt portion. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band. The closure portions are attached by a line of weakness. The closure portions are further attached via a hinge. The hinge includes a locking tab, a flexible tab and linking segments. The locking tab extends further outwardly from a center of the closure in a closed position than the flexible tab and the linking segments. During the opening of the flip-top closure, the locking tab moves and passes the flexible tab such that the flip-top closure locks in a fully open position.

A closure for sealingly closing a container neck having a tubular body with a top wall, an annular side wall, an intermediate wall joining the side wall to the top wall and an annular tamper evidence band frangibly connected to an open end described by the side wall. The band includes retaining cams protruding from its inner surface. Each cam has a lead-in ramp for engaging, in use, the flange of a container neck as the neck is introduced into the open end of the body and a stop for engaging the flange to separate the band from the body when the closure is subsequently removed from the neck. Each lead-in ramp has a central recess therein.

The present invention relates to a closure for a container with a base element directly or indirectly attachable to a container, a flip-top lid attached to the base element by a hinge such that the flip-top lid can be moved between an opened and a closed position, and a tamper evident element for indicating whether the flip-top lid had been opened at least once by a user or not. The flip-top lid comprises a top cover element and an outer side wall extending therefrom. The tamper evident element is linearly movable between a first position and a second position, wherein the flip-top lid further comprises an inner side wall, which extends only around a part of the circumference of the closure, wherein at least parts of the inner side wall and at least parts of the outer side wall together form guidance means for enabling and controlling the linear movement.

The present invention relates to a dispensing closure and a container with such a dispensing closure. The dispensing closure comprises a base element, a spout element and a rotatable operating element, wherein the spout element can be axially moved between a retracted position and an extended position.

In order to prevent or minimize littering, the invention proposes a plastic closure (1) having a tamper-proof element. The plastic closure has a tamper-proof element that is as small as possible, and the plastic closure is largely secured against loss. The tamper-proof element consists of a plate (50), which is formed as part of the jacket wall (30) of the cover (3) by means of designed breaking point bridges (51, 52) and lies behind a first apron (25) in the closed state before the first opening and engages in a window (26) of the first apron by means of a locking hook. After the first opening, the plate (50) is separated from the cover and is held captive between the first apron (25) and a second, inner apron (27).

A tamper-evident closure comprising a cap and a retaining ring, the retaining ring is connected to the sidewall by a plurality of bridges, at least one of the bridges is frangible and at least one of the bridges is non-frangible whereby to form a link between the ring and the sidewall.
