Flip-Top Closure
A flip-top closure includes first and second closure polymeric portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a skirt portion and a tamper-evident feature being detachably connected to the annular skirt. The second closure portion includes a top wall portion, a skirt portion with an internal thread formation and an upwardly-extending locking tab, and a tamper-evident band. The first and second closure portions are attached via a hinge. The closure moves to an open position, resulting in the tamper-evident feature being detached from the remainder of the first closure portion and remaining adjacent to the skirt portion of the second closure portion in which the upwardly-extending locking tab assists in preventing or inhibiting the tamper-evident feature from falling off of the closure after the closure has been opened.
TWO-PART DISPENSING CLOSURE SYSTEM WITH INTERNAL SEAL AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A dispensing closure system includes an upper closure portion and a lower closure portion including an axial flow conduit and a vent conduit. The upper closure portion is axially movable relative to lower closure portion between shipping and dispensing positions. A seal is disposed on the lower closure portion over the flow and vent conduits. A peripheral spacing strip is removably secured to the upper closure portion and engages with either the lower closure or the outside of the container to prevent movement. A piercing probe includes piercing elements in alignment with the flow and vent conduits for piercing the seal. In the shipping position, the piercing elements are spaced from the seal. However, when the spacing strip is removed and the upper closure portion is axially moved to the dispensing position, the piercing elements pierce the seal to open the flow conduit and the vent conduit.
Container closure with perforator and captive seal ring
Container closure (1) having a closure bottom part (5) and a cap (2), and also a mouthpiece (3) and an apparatus for piercing a closure film, wherein a tamper-evident band (6) is provided which ensures that the closure film can be pierced by the apparatus only when the tamper-evident band (6) has been removed, wherein the tamper-evident band (6) is arranged between the closure bottom part (5) and the cap (2), characterized in that the tamper-evident hand (6) is designed as a closed ring which is connected to a bottom edge of the cap (2) via at least one separable web (8), and the cap (2) is mounted on the closure bottom part (5) so as to be able to be respectively rotated and pressed in regions.
Fillable cap closure with a film seal that is opened purely by means of rotation or axial pressing
The invention relates to a fillable twist cap closure for receiving and film-sealing a liquid or pourable filling in the interior of the closure and for emptying out the filling purely by rotating the twist cap (1). The closure consist of a receiving part (3) which is screwed onto the threaded connection of a container and which comprises a cylinder (7) that is open at the bottom, said cylinder (7) being film-sealed at the bottom, and a cup (2) that can be introduced headfirst into the cylinder (7). All plastic parts (1-3) are made of a steam-absorbing polymer, and piercing and cutting teeth (5) which extend in the axial direction are molded on the lower edge of the cup (2). Guide means (9, 10, 28) on the outside of the cup (2) interact with guide means (8, 12) on the twist cap (1). When the twist cap (1) is rotated, an axial movement of the cup (2) is first produced in order to pierce the film (33) on the receiving part (3). Upon a further rotation, a purely horizontal rotation is then produced in order to cut open the film (33) along the film circumference by less than 360. Finally, the cup (2) is moved again axially downwards in order to fold open the cut film (33), whereby the contents of the cup fall downwards.
Tamperproof food box
A re-closable tamperproof food box, including first and second main panels connected with a rear panel, the first main panel forming the bottom and the second main panel forming the top. The first main panel has two side panels and a front panel attached. The second main panel has two side panels and a front panel attached. The second main panel is connected along fourth edge to the rear panel connected along a fourth edge of the first main panel. At least one strip of adhesive is disposed on one of the two opposing side panels and the front panel of the first main panel A perforation is disposed along the second main panel, forming a tear strip. A continuous length of material on an interior surface of the second main panel, to tear through the tear strip.
Plastic formed body for pouring out liquid
A plastic formed body having a pouring port 110 for pouring out highly wetting liquid that wets plastics to a high degree, wherein at least either a surface 110b that becomes a liquid-drip flow passage when said liquid drips at the pouring port 110 or a surface 110a that becomes a flow passage when said liquid is poured out, is coated with a fluorine-contained resin, and a surface of the fluorine-contained resin coating has an arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) in a range of 0.4 to 200 m in the surface roughness measurement and an element mean height (Rh) in a range of 0.04 to 10 as defined by mean height (Rc)/element mean length (RSm) in the linear roughness measurement. The formed body effectively prevents said highly wetting liquid from dripping at the pouring port 110.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER AND UTENSIL THEREFOR
A closure for a system that has an opening and an outwardly projecting flange. The closure includes a base for being installed at the system opening and a closing element for occluding the closure. The base has a skirt for attaching the closure to the system, the skirt has a lower end portion for being located adjacent the system flange when the base is installed at the system opening. The skirt lower end portion has (a) a first portion defining (i) an outer side, (ii) an inner side, and (iii) a bottom end, (b) a second portion having (i) a proximal end, and (ii) a distal end, and (c) a connecting portion connecting the first portion bottom end and the second portion proximal end to accommodate initial deflection of the second portion by the system flange toward the first portion inner side during installation of the base on the system.
