A CLOSURE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A CAP WITH AN INTEGRATED TAMPER-EVIDENT RING MEMBER
A closure assembly comprises an article (10, 10′, 10″, 10) and a cap (40, 40′, 40″, 40′″, 440) provided with an integrated tamper-evident ring member (50, 50′, 50″, 450). The article further comprises a circumferential flange structure (20) with an annular flange portion and a peripheral protective rim portion (25) so that the top face (21a) of the flange portion and the protective rim define an annular recess (30) around the neck (14). The tamper-evident ring member is integrally formed to the lower edge of the skirt (42) of the cap via one or more breakable bridges (70). The ring member comprises an annular ring member flange portion (51) that has a top face (51a) and a bottom face (51b). Multiple hook members (53) are integrally formed to the bottom of the ring member flange portion, and the annular flange portion on the neck is provided with multiple hook member passages(1S). Each hook member passage is adapted to receive a hook member when the cap with the integrated tamper-evident ring member is axially mounted on the neck by means of an axial securing motion, wherein the hook portion (55) of each hook member snaps underneath the bottom face (21b) of the annular flange portion on the neck of the article. The periphery of the annular flange portion of the ring member is shaped to fit within the protective rim portion and the rim portion obstructs lateral access from outside to the interface between flange portions.

A compact cap with an opening block, after opening, for a container having a mouthpiece, includes a base ring preventing separation from the mouthpiece, a protective cap or cover for opening and closing the mouthpiece, a hinge arrangement that makes the base ring and the cover integral, and frangible bridges, which connect a lower edge of the cover with an upper edge of the base ring when the cover is closing on the ring base and the mouthpiece. The hinge arrangement includes a plurality of spaced strips or bridges, which connect the cover and the base ring, and an extension enlarged outwardly, which forms an integral part of an annular collar and is obtained at the lower end of the cover, and which becomes engaged with the mouthpiece when the cover is rotated from a closed position to an open position to provide a stable open position of the cover.

CAPTIVE CLOSURE WITH STABILISED OPENING ANGLE
The invention relates to a closure consisting of a screw cap (10) with a tamperproof strip (3). The screw cap has at least one cylindrical cap casing (2) with an inner thread and a circumferential tamperproof strip at the lower open end of the cap casing, said tamperproof strip being connected to the lower edge of the cap casing along easily tearable weakness lines (13, 14), wherein the tamperproof strip remains captively connected to the cap casing after a tearing process along the weakness lines by means of holding strips (15, 16). The aim of the invention is to design a captive screw cap with a tamperproof strip in such a manner that after the screw cap has been unscrewed and released from the bottleneck opening, the screw cap is folded away or tilted into a position in which the screw cap does not interfere with the additional use of the bottle or with pouring or drinking out of the bottle and can remain there without additional measures. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the holding strips are formed by two weakness lines, each of which is interrupted at least once in the circumferential direction and which partly overlap in the circumferential direction and run at an axial distance to each other at least in the overlap region. The separating web (11, 12) of each of the two weakness lines is bridged by the respective other weakness line preferably at an axial distance.
Spouted pouch adapted to be filled with a flowable product and method of production thereof
In combination a spouted pouch to be filled with a flowable product by a filling machine, a plug, and a cap. The interference fit plug is releasably mounted over the top end of the neck of the spout body and hermetically seals the product passage of the spout body. The plug is adapted to be removed by the filling machine and to be replaced by pressing the plug onto the neck after filling of the pouch. The plug removal, filling, and replacing of the plug are preferably performed in an aseptic environment. The cap is after the filling of the pouch and the replacing of the plug onto the neck. The capping is preferably performed by a capping machine in a non-aseptic environment.
Tamper evident flip cap
A closure includes a flip-top structure and a tamper-evident band. The flip-top structure is restricted from being opened because it interfaces against an underlying protrusion, such as a thread of a container's neck. To open the flip-top structure the closure is rotated with respect to the container neck. When the closure is rotated with respect to the container neck, the closure is configured such that the tamper-evident band breaks before the flip-top structure is permitted to rotate to an open position. Thus, the closure prevents accessing the container's contents until after the tamper-evident band is broken even with the addition of a flip-top structure.
Tamper evident container closure
A tamper-evident container closure (10) is provided and comprises a base (15) and a lid (20). The base and lid are connected together by a hinge (25) so that the lid can be moved between a closed position and an open position. The base is attachable to a container neck. Generally opposite the hinge the lid includes a retention member (35), the retention member includes or defines a window (39) and includes a retention portion for engagement with a cooperating portion on the closure and/or on a container neck for holding the lid in a closed position. The closure includes a tamper-evident member (40) at least part of which moves into or out of view with respect to the window to indicate opening of the closure.
Tapered closure and closure system
A closure for a container includes a top panel, a skirt depending from the top panel and extending circumferentially about a central axis, a tamper-evident band attached to the skirt, and at least one thread extending from an interior surface of the skirt. The skirt extends from a first end attached to the top panel to a second end opposite the first end. The skirt is tapered radially outward from the first end to the second end such that a diameter of the skirt at the second end is greater than the diameter of the skirt at the first end.
