The separation line (5) extends about the axis (Z) and is circumferentially interrupted to form in the lateral wall (3) a joining zone (305), which extends for a first angle (a), in which the retaining ring (301) and the closing element (302) are joined. The cap (1) comprises a tab (308), made in the joining zone (305), which extends circumferentially for a second angle (β) and is connected to the joining zone (305); the retaining ring (301) comprising a retaining portion (303) and a free portion (306), wherein the retaining portion (303) comprises an engaging element configured to engage internally with a locking ring (202) of the neck (201) during a passage from a closed condition to an open condition of the closing element (302), and wherein the free portion (306) comprises a movement element which extends circumferentially at least in the second angle (β) and is configured, during said passage, to allow a movement of the free portion (306) along an axis parallel to the axis (Z).
A CAP FOR A CONTAINER, COMBINATION OF A CAP AND A NECK OF THE CONTAINER AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD
Described is a cap (1) for a container (2), a combination of a closing cap for a container and a neck of the container and a relative method for making the cap for the container. The cap comprises a lateral wall extending about an axis and a transversal wall positioned at one end of the lateral wall, a separation line being provided on the lateral wall to define a retaining ring, which is configured to remain anchored to a neck of the container and which extends up to a free edge; a closing element (302) removably engageable with the neck, so as to open or close the container; the separation line extends about an axis and being circumferentially interrupted to leave the retaining ring (301) and the closing element joined; wherein the retaining ring comprises a joining portion (305) at which the retaining ring is joined to the closing element; a first connecting band (306), which extends from a first end zone of the joining portion to the retaining portion (303), and a second connecting band (307), which extends from a second end zone of the joining portion, the second end zone being positioned circumferentially on the opposite side to the first end zone; a tab (308), interposed between the first connecting band (306) and the second connecting band (307) and being protruding, or aligned with respect to it, so that, when the closing element is in an open condition and the connecting bands keep the closing element connected to the retaining ring, the tab can rest on the neck (201). A method is also provided for making the cap in a cutting unit.
CONTAINER CLOSURE
A closure cap for closing a pouring opening of a container has a cylindrical threaded part with an open rim an inner thread configured to cooperate with an outer thread of a container neck, a security ring configured to be held on a projection formed on the container neck, a plurality of security webs configured to releasably connect the security ring to the open rim, and a first retaining strip having a first end securely connected to the open rim of the threaded part and a second end securely connected to the security ring. The closure cap has a second retaining strip having a third end securely connected to the open rim of the threaded part and a fourth endue securely connected to the security ring. A circular web section is formed between the first and the second ends. A second projection is formed on an outer wall of the web section.
CAP FOR A CONTAINER
Described is closing cap for a container comprising a lateral wall extending about an axis, a separation line being provided on the lateral wall to define a retaining ring, which comprises a retaining portion which extends up to a free edge of the retaining ring and is configured to engage internally with a ring for locking a neck of the container in such a way as to remain anchored to the neck, and a closing element removably engageable with the neck, so as to open or close the container rotating the closing element about the axis. The separation line is circumferentially interrupted to define in the lateral wall a joining zone in which the retaining ring and the closing element are joined. The cap comprises in addition an incision line, which is also provided on the lateral wall to define, in association with the separation line at least a first connecting band and a second connecting band for connecting together the joining zone and the retaining portion. The incision line comprises a pair of lateral stretches wherein a first lateral stretch defines, with a first part of the separation line, the first connecting band and a second lateral stretch defines, with a second part of the separation line, the second connecting band. The lateral stretches differ in angular extension to define connecting bands of different lengths, the angular difference between the longest lateral stretch and the other lateral stretch being greater than or equal to 5° and less than or equal to 45°.
SPLIT BAND CLOSURE WITH SINGLE ANCHOR
An apparatus and methods are provided for a closure for sealing contents within an interior of a container. The closure comprises a closure portion that is coupled to a tamper evidence band by a single anchor. The closure portion threadably engages with a finish portion of the container and seals contents in the interior of the container. The anchor is configured to keep the closure portion coupled with the tamper evidence band when the closure portion is untightened from the finish portion. A multiplicity of thin connections between the tamper evidence band and the closure portion break apart when the closure portion is untightened from the finish portion. The anchor remains unbroken and allows the closure portion to be tilted away from the finish portion. The tamper evidence band includes a split portion that separates when the closure portion is pulled from the finish portion with sufficient force.
