REUSABLE PLASTICS CONTAINER
The invention relates to a reusable plastics container (100), comprising a container body (20), a container base (10) and a container opening (30) located opposite the container base. A repeating structure (21), in particular a honeycomb structure, formed by depressions (22) and ribs (23) surrounding the depressions (22) is disposed on the container body (20). Alternatively, grooves are disposed on the container body. At least 90% of the surfaces of the depressions (22) and of the ribs (23) and/or the grooves are visible from the container opening (30).
Bottle
The present invention relates to a bottle having a cylindrical shape with a bottom and formed of a synthetic resin material. In the bottle, a bottom portion includes a bottom wall portion, and a cylindrical heel portion. A plurality of recessed portions are provided in the bottom portion at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. A bottom surface of each of the plurality of recessed portions has a rectangular shape extending in the radial direction when viewed from below. When an interval in the circumferential direction between upper end portions located at the heel portion, among bottom surfaces of recessed portions adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the plurality of recessed portions, is defined as A, and a size in the circumferential direction of the upper end portions of the bottom surfaces of the recessed portions is defined as B, 1.0<A/B<3.2 is satisfied.
MOLDED CONTAINER BASE
A thermoplastic container including a body with a base, where the base includes a standing ring positioned concentric to the central axis, a base wall extending radially inwardly from the standing ring, and a plurality of dome-like impressions formed into the base wall, and where at least two of the dome-like impressions intersect with each other.
BOTTLE
A bottle comprising a hollow body, a bottom, a front wall, a back wall, a left side wall, a right side wall, a tubular spout and a tapered section. The back wall of the bottle is substantially parallel the front wall. The right side wall of the bottle is substantially parallel the left side wall, curved inwards towards the hollow body and shorter in height than the left side wall. In the bottle the tubular spout is centrally orientated between the front wall and back wall of the bottle, the centerline of the tubular spout being offset from the right side wall toward the left side wall and sized to fit a 38 mm screw bottle cap. The tapered section of the bottle is interposed between and connecting the hollow body and the tubular spout, whereby the front wall, back wall, left side wall and right side wall connect and merge into the tubular spout and the front wall, back wall, left side wall and right side wall connect and merge into the bottom.
Lightweight container base
A container defining a longitudinal axis and a transverse direction that is transverse with respect to the longitudinal axis. The container includes a finish and a sidewall portion extending from the finish. A plurality of ribs are defined by the sidewall. A base portion extends from the sidewall portion and encloses the sidewall portion to form a volume therein for retaining a commodity. The base portion has a contact surface for supporting the container. A plurality of straps extend radially along the base portion away from the longitudinal axis in the transverse direction, each one of the straps defines a strap surface that is closer to the finish than the contact surface. The plurality of ribs and the base portion are configured to place the container in a state of hydraulic charge-up when top load is applied to the container after the container is filled.
SYNTHETIC RESIN CONTAINER
Provided is a synthetic resin container that effectively absorbs the reduced pressure generated inside the container as a result of hot filling and that also prevents deterioration in appearance of a label applied to an outer circumferential surface of a trunk portion of the container. A synthetic resin container according to the present disclosure includes a mouth portion, a trunk portion, and a bottom portion. The trunk portion is provided with a plurality of reduced pressure absorbing panels extending in the vertical direction while twisting in the circumferential direction and being arranged side by side in the circumferential direction. Each reduced pressure absorbing panel has a narrow-width portion located in a region between the panel upper end and the panel lower end. A width of each reduced pressure absorbing panel is reduced in the narrow-width portion than in the panel upper end and the panel lower end.
Bottle with Extended Neck Finish and Method of Making Same
A blow molded synthetic resin bottle has a body and an elongated neck with the body providing a shoulder extending about the base of the neck. The neck has a first collar extending thereabout spaced adjacent the shoulder and at least one additional collar extending thereabout adjacent the upper end of the neck. The resin in the neck is substantially unoriented. To produce the bottle, a synthetic resin preform is injection molded with a generally tubular body and the elongated neck. This preform is placed in a blow mold cavity having a body receiving portion and a neck receiving portion that has a recess extending thereabout seating the first collar therein. The additional collar is disposed outwardly of the mold cavity and is disposed on the upper surface of the mold.
Lightweight Container Base
A mold system for forming a container having a longitudinal axis and a transverse direction that extends transverse to the longitudinal axis. The mold system includes a sidewall system for molding the sidewall portion of the container. The mold system also includes a base system for molding the base portion of the container. The base system is operable for forming the entire base portion of the container including a central pushup portion, a contact surface for supporting the container, and at least one strap extending along the base portion in the transverse direction. The strap defines a strap surface that is spaced offset in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis from the contact surface. The strap surface extends in the transverse direction to be adjacent the sidewall portion such that the at least one strap surface is visible from a side of the container.
Container with arcuate sidewall panels
A container including one or more recessed or raised sidewall panels that increase compressive load resistance, for example top load resistance and/or side load resistance. The container can further include a first end having a base, a second end having an opening therein, wherein the first end is opposite the second end and the base is opposite the opening, a sidewall that extends between the first end and the second end, and an axis that extends perpendicular to the base from the first end to the second end. The one or more sidewall panels have an arcing profile that extends along a direction parallel with the axis. The one or more arcing profiles each extend over at least 30% of a height of the container.
Lightweight container base
A container defining a longitudinal axis and a transverse direction that is transverse with respect to the longitudinal axis is disclosed. The container includes a finish, a sidewall portion extending from the finish, and a base portion extending from the sidewall portion and enclosing the sidewall portion to form a volume therein for retaining a commodity. The base portion has a contact surface for supporting the container. The container also includes at least one strap extending along the base portion in the transverse direction. The strap defines a strap surface, and the strap surface is spaced offset in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis from the contact surface. The strap surface extends in the transverse direction to be adjacent the sidewall portion such that the at least one strap surface is visible from a side of the container.
