WINE BOTTLE CORK HOLDER
A wine cork display and aerating system is disclosed. The wine cork system includes a plug with a corresponding sleeve operable to form a fluid tight seal inside the neck of a bottle, a holder operable to secure a wine cork and a plurality of aeration holes in communication with the bottle's contents to allow the wine to breathe and to prevent contamination of the wine.
Container adapter lids
A method, system, apparatus, and/or device for an adapter lid of a container. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include a planar wall extending along a horizontal plane, the planar wall being configured to attach to a gasket and extend along a rim of a container, where the planar wall includes an opening to provide a passage for the object to enter a cavity of the container. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include an opening wall configured to circumscribe the opening and extend from the horizontal plane to form a spout, where the adapter lid is configured to attach to the rim of the container in a normal orientation and attach to the rim of the container in a reverse orientation.
Container System
A container system for liquids includes a container body with a mouth, a resilient stopper and a cap. The stopper has a body portion closely received within the mouth, and an annular flange projecting radially outward from the body. A resilient annular spring element is located between the flange of the stopper and the cap, and biases the flange against the mouth of the container when the container is assembled and maintains a seal between the flange and cap. In one embodiment, the spring element has a unitary, tear-drop shaped geometry in cross-section with a rounded bulbous body portion smoothly tapering to a curved, radially-inwardly projecting lip, although the spring element could have other asymmetrical configurations such as a cone, helical, V, S or C shape in cross-section. The spring element defines at least two separate points of contact between the flange of the stopper and cap.
METALLIC CONTAINER WITH A THREADED CLOSURE
The present invention relates generally to a container that may be sealed and reclosed with a threaded closure. More specifically, the present invention relates to methods of manufacturing a metallic container having an opening with inwardly facing threads that are formed after a threaded closure is inserted at least partially into the opening. The container opening may be selectively sealed and reclosed with the threaded closure which releasably engages the container threads.
STOPPER
The stopper is equipped with a stopper main body having a guiding path extending in an axial direction. A stopper member has a flow path extending in the axial direction and is inserted in the guiding path of the stopper main body. A sealing member inserts into the flow path of the stopper member in such a manner as to block the flow path. The stopper member is equipped with, at a position where the sealing member is inserted, a first peripheral wall section fixed in a manner as to extend in the axial direction and a second peripheral wall section separated from the first peripheral wall section in a circumferential direction and extending radially outward along the axial direction.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING INTERLOCKED CAP AND RECEPTACLE
An apparatus for separating an interlocked cap and receptacle comprises a top wall and a cap removal station. The cap removal station comprises an opening, a raised collar for engaging and releasing interlocking elements of the cap and receptacle, and tabs on a side of the top wall opposite the raised collar for retaining the receptacle within the opening when the cap is separated from the receptacle. A method for separating an interlocked cap and receptacle comprises moving the cap and receptacle in a first direction into a cap removal station, contacting interlocking elements of the cap and receptacle with a raised collar to thereby release the interlocking elements, retaining the receptacle within the cap removal station; and with the interlocking elements released and the receptacle retained within the cap removal station, moving the cap in a second direction opposite the first direction to separate the cap from the receptacle.
Plastic body configured for engagement with an automated receptacle transport mechanism
A plastic body including a generally cylindrical upper portion having an open end configured for engagement with an automated pipettor. The plastic body further includes a plurality of longitudinally oriented ribs disposed on an inner surface of the open end of the upper portion and a plurality of concave recesses disposed on an outer surface of the upper portion. Each of the recesses is disposed directly opposite an associated one of the ribs, and each of the recesses extends along at least part of the length of the associated rib.
REAGENT WELL HAVING A CAPILLARY INSERT
A reagent well having a capillary insert that contains a lyophilized reagent therein.
Method for manufacturing a medical rubber closure
A medical rubber closure according to the present invention includes a disc-shaped flange portion and a leg portion formed to be continuous to a lower surface side of the flange portion, and a region at the lower surface side of the flange portion and the leg portion are made of a nitrile based rubber, a region at a top surface side of the flange portion is made of a butyl based rubber, and the leg portion is laminated with a coating layer made of a fluorine based resin film.
Device for preserving beverages
A closure element for liquid containers, in particular bottles, includes a stopper engaging the opening of the liquid container (e.g., a neck of a bottle) and a cap (5) covering the edge of the neck opening, the stopper including an inlet channel passing therethrough and optionally an outlet channel, the inlet channel and optionally the outlet channel (42) are respectively provided with an inlet valve or outlet valve, which may be a pressure relief valve (21).
