HIGH STRENGTH CABLE TIE
A reinforced cable tie generally includes an elongate strap, a head attached to a first end of the strap and a continuous fiber reinforcement disposed in and extending substantially continuously along a path defining at least one of the strap and the head. The head has one or more apertures formed therein and a locking device disposed in the aperture of the head. The locking device is configured to permit a second end of the strap opposite the head to be inserted through the head aperture in a first direction and is further configured to prevent movement of the second end of the strap from the head aperture in a second direction opposite the first direction.
Reed storage apparatus for humidity control
An apparatus and method for storing reeds. The apparatus includes a tray having a first platform and a second platform opposite from the first platform where each platform includes a plurality of reed passages, an inner recess between the first and second platforms, and a plurality of ventilation apertures on the first and second platforms. The tray may be removably configured within an airtight container. A method for storing reeds includes positioning a humidity-control insert within an inner recess of a tray, having a first platform, a second platform opposite from the first platform, an inner recess between the first and second platforms, and a plurality of reed passages on the first and second platforms, wherein each of the plurality of reed passages may include ventilation apertures. The method further includes placing a reed within one of the reed passages and securing the reed with an elastic band.
ADJUSTABLE SEAL
In some implementations, an adjustable seal includes a multi-layer strap having a first end and a second end. A first layer of the multi-layer strap comprises a non-sealing material. A second layer of the multi-layer strap comprises a sealing material. The first end of the multi-layer strap includes a locking mechanism on the first layer of the multi-layer strap. The second end of the multi-layer strap is configured to be inserted through an opening of the locking mechanism to cause the multi-layer strap to form a loop that is to provide a seal. The first layer of the multi-layer strap is to form an external layer of the loop and the second layer of the multi-layer strap is to form an internal layer of the loop.
Apparatus, system, and method for an elastomer lined self locking tie
An elastomer lined self-locking tie includes an elongated strap, at least one cavity or recess in the the elongated strap, an elastomer segment, and a locking head. The elongated strap includes a head end positioned opposite a tapered end. The tapered end includes a first surface positioned opposite a second surface. The cavity is positioned in either the first surface or the second surface. The elastomer segment is positioned within the cavity and extends beyond either the first surface or the second surface. The locking head extends from the head end of the elongated strap and includes an orifice shaped to receive the tapered end of the elongated strap and the elastomer segment.
Cable tie with multi-slot head for attachments
A new and improved cable tie includes a core cable tie having a multi-slot head and a set of attachments that are not integrally formed with the core cable tie. A user can combine one or more attachments with a core cable tie to form a cable tie assembly. As such, a core cable tie can be modified with one or more attachments that are specific to a desired capability or configuration. This results in improved strength and cost savings in that the same core cable tie can be used for multiple applications. The user only adds attachments, such as finger or hand pulls, based on the needs of a specific situation.
Recyclable cable tie
A recyclable cable tie has a single-aperture buckle, at least one multi-aperture buckle and a belt. The top of the single-aperture buckle is connected to the bottom of the most proximal multi-aperture buckle via the connecting tape. Each one of the at least one multi-aperture buckle has at least two up-down symmetrically arranged engaging cases. Each engaging case has an engaging pawl and an opening. Multiple unidirectional ratchets are formed on the top of the engaging pawl and extend up into the opening of the multi-aperture buckle. The belt is connected to the bottom of the single-aperture buckle. The belt may first engage with the single-aperture buckle, and the extra tail of the belt may be cut off. The extra tail that is cut off may be further used to engage with the multi-aperture buckles continuously so as to be recyclable.
Reusable tie strap with multiple apertures
An elongated tie strap comprising a head having a plurality of similarly dimensioned through-holes, a body having a plurality of axially oriented ridges on opposite lateral surfaces, and a tail having a thickness less than that of the body. The cross-sectional dimensions of the body are substantially equal to the cross-sectional dimensions of the through-holes, and the distance between adjacent ridges is substantially equal to the through-hole depth, such that the body may couple to the head when inserted through one or more through-holes.
Multi-surface cable tying device
A multi-surface cable tie device includes a head member having an outer end and an opposed inner end, the head member defining an aperture having rectangular configuration and a channel defining a generally V-shaped configuration in communication with the aperture. The cable tie device includes an elongate tying strap that includes a base strip having a planar configuration that includes a proximal end adjacent the inner end of the head member and a distal end opposite the proximal end, the base strip having an elongate toothed portion mounted to an inside surface of the base strip. The toothed portion includes a generally triangular cross-section and having a plurality of teeth extending away from the base strip. The aperture is configured to selectively receive the base strip and the channel is configured to receive the toothed portion of the tying strap.
CABLE TIE
An improved cable tie to couple together a plurality of elongated objects. The improved cable tie includes a cable strap having a first end, a second end and a plurality of constraint structures. First and second locking wedges that receive the cable strap are disposed inversely to one another such that a first length of the cable strap disposed through the first locking wedge engages the first locking wedge by the plurality of constraint structures to form a first loop and a second length of the cable strap disposed through the second locking wedge engages the second locking wedge by the plurality of constraint structures to form a second loop.
SIZE-ADJUSTABLE FASTENER
A size-adjustable fastener includes: a first fastener and a second fastener. The first fastener is arranged with connection strips; an end of the connection strip is arranged with a limiting block; a transverse cross section of the limiting block is larger than that of the connection strip; the second fastener defines connection holes; each connection hole is communicated with a limiting hole, and the limiting hole is located at a side of the connection hole; the connection strip is inserted into the connection hole from a side of the second fastener; the connection strip is moved to approach the limiting hole to enable the limiting block to abut against the other side of the second fastener, enabling an end of the second fastener is connected to an end of the first fastener. The other end of the second fastener is connected to the other end of the first fastener.
