Pallet unit with continuous wrapping sheet extending within the stack of blocks and palletizing method
Pallet unit (1) for transporting objects comprising a pallet (10) and a stack (11) of object blocks (B1 . . . B5) arranged on the pallet (10). The pallet unit (1) comprises a wrapping sheet (12) having vertical portions (V1 . . . V12) and horizontal portions (h1 h15) covering parts of the blocks (B1 . . . B5), said wrapping sheet (12) being laid along a continuous path and extending at least partly within the stack (11). Method for palletizing object blocks using said pallet unit (1).
Structural System For Load Stabilization Frame And Method For Assembling The Same
The present disclosure relates to a top frame-type structural system for load fixing. The system can be used together with pallets that can support a product/merchandise or goods, which are supported, stowed and/or palletized, and subsequently fastened/fixed by a rope, tape and/or strap. In particular, the top frame of the present system is configured to mechanically interact with the strap and efficiently distribute the generated stresses derived from the force tension to which it is subjected to ensure the integrity and bracing of the product. The present system includes a set of structural components, manufactured in a modular manner, which can be assembled and disassembled/taken to pieces, which offers a practical product, easy to handle and transport, and specifically, being manufactured in a modular manner, such that the present structural system can be advantageously transported, packaged using less space, thus improving its logistics and handling.
Method of forming a pad
A layer pad (10) comprises a substantially flat sheet (12) having first and second opposite substantially planar faces (14, 16). The layer pad (10) further includes at least one raised formation (18) on at least one of the faces (14, 16).
Slipsheet, divider sheet and method for making the same
The present disclosure provides a slipsheet and/or divider sheet and method for making the same, and method for moving and storing containers with use of the slipsheets or divider sheets. The sheets have an imprint or an embossing that provides a raised planar surface. The raised planar surface preferably comprises a plurality of ridges, crowns or crests, which are preferably arranged in a pattern throughout an upper surface of the sheet. To make the sheet, a die can be etched to have protuberances or bumps, and the die is preferably pressed into a sheet of pliable thermoplastic material. The sheet thus made has a plurality of indentations formed by the protuberances or bumps on the die, and the sheet has a planar outer surface comprising a plurality of ridges, crowns and crests between the indentations.
HEAT TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR WAREHOUSED GOODS
Systems and methods for airflow management around palletized cases of goods in a warehouse storage facility are provided, in which airflow around each individual layer of cases is facilitated while airflow spillage around the sides, top or bottom of pallet assemblies is minimized or eliminated. One exemplary device for such airflow management includes palletized product spacers disposed between respective layers of vertically stacked cases, in which the product spacers facilitate a substantially unidirectional longitudinal airflow. Another exemplary airflow management device is a series of automatically adjustable air dams disposed at the tops of respective pallet assemblies which prevent air spillage and establish intermediate air manifold spaces. Yet another device is a lateral pallet spacer prevents direct abutment of the side surfaces of neighboring pallet assemblies and thereby ensures that the air manifold spaces are in fluid communication with the spacers of multiple pallet assemblies.

STACKING MEANS FOR PRODUCTS
Disclosed is a stacking element for shipping or storing, in which products are stored in stacked layers, each layer including a batch of products, the stacking unit including a plurality of trays one above the other, the sizes of the trays being compatible with the dimensions of a standard shipping pallet. Each tray has a rectangular base on which products can stand, as well as side walls, extending from the perimeter of the base and perpendicular to it, and at least one wall works as a door which can be opened for allowing side introduction of the products in the tray, or closed. Also disclosed is a corresponding tray.
Pallet spacer
A pallet spacer system including a pallet spacer having a pallet spacer body with a plurality of upper portions. Each upper portion has a generally flat upper surface that is aligned with the upper surfaces of the other upper portions. The pallet spacer body further includes a plurality of lower portions, each lower portion having a generally flat lower surface that is aligned with the lower surfaces of the other lower portions. The pallet spacer system includes a plurality of spacers positioned on the upper portions and configured to receive at least an item therebetween.
Appliance packaging system and method
A unit package (10) is utilized to hold an appliance (12) such as a microwave oven. The unit package may include an impact absorbing base (14) which supports the appliance. A transparent flexible liner (40) extends in surrounding relation of the appliance. A plurality of straps (44) including respective flexible loops (46) which serve as handles, extend in surrounding relation of the liner, the appliance and the base. A plurality of unit packages are arrangeable in a stack for transport including layers of rows in supported connection with a pallet (52). A sleeve (64) extends in surrounding relation of the stack. Frangible adhesive strips (84, 86) enable opening the sleeve to expose the unit packages.
Egg carton with mating cell and lid post structure
Plastic egg cartons having mating cell and lid posts for improved egg protection. The carton has a base tray and hinged lid, the tray including a plurality of cells for receiving individual eggs, and the tray having a plurality of cell posts each formed at an intersection of four adjacent cells as an extension of the sidewalls of the four adjacent cells. Preferable, each cell post has four generally planar ramp surfaces, one disposed respectively on each of the four sidewall extensions. The lid has a plurality of lid posts for mating with the cell posts when the lid is in a closed position.
