DISPOSABLE BAG FOR HYGIENIC DISPOSAL OF A FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCT
A bag of thin plastic material shaped into a container having a closed end and an open end cut to provide two tying portions, and sides extending between the open and closed ends. The plastic material is of a color and has at least an antimicrobial agent, and has an imprinted design or pattern. The bag is of a size suitable for receiving a single product, such as a used feminine hygiene product, along with any other material in the use or replacement of such product by a user, in which the tying portions are tieable to seal the product within the bag. When a product is sealed in the bag by a user, the antimicrobial agent inhibits the growth of odor causing bacteria, the scent masks any odors, and the color and imprinted design assists to conceal or obfuscate any blood on a used feminine product in the bag.

A system for holding food waste includes a first housing forming a chamber to hold the food waste, the chamber comprising at least a first port, and a second housing comprising at least a second port configured to couple with at least the first port, and a fan to provide airflow into the chamber through at least the second port, the first housing removably coupled with the second housing such that removal of the first housing from the second housing decouples at least the first port from at least the second port.

The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic film that includes a plurality of ribs and a plurality of web areas that separate and connect the ribs. The thermoplastic film further includes an encapsulated odor control component that includes an odor control active encapsulated within a plurality of encapsulants. The encapsulants can be configured to delay a release of the odor-control active until activated. Further, the encapsulated odor control component can be applied across the plurality of ribs and the plurality of web areas, which can be configured to cause the encapsulants to activate in phases.

Emesis containment systems, methods of use, and dissolvable charges therefor. Such an emesis containment system includes a face mask, a container for receiving vomit, an air filter, a backflow barrier to inhibit passage of vomit out of the container, and a dissolvable charge disposed inside the container. The dissolvable charge includes a surfactant that foams when contacted by liquid of the vomit. The surfactant forms a foam barrier on a top surface of the vomit inside the container to inhibit escape of gases from the vomit from the container. The dissolvable charge includes a dry pressed pellet having dry powder forms of a surfactant, absorbent particles, and a thickening agent pressed together. At least some of each of the surfactant, the absorbent particles, and the thickening agent is disposed on an exterior surface dry pressed pellet.
