Commercial grade wheeled refuse receptacle with lid
A refuse receptacle is disclosed, having a body with an upper and a lower portion, the upper portion having a top rim forming a gusset with a vertical wall and a horizontal wall, the lower portion having a bottom side with a base rim. On the back side of the upper portion is a handle attached to the body of the receptacle. The handle is attached to the upper portion by at least one projecting sidewall. A lid is included, having a convex upper surface and two sets of opposing sidewalls. The opposing sidewalls correspond with the top rim of the body. The lid includes at least one projection to attach to the handle with a securing plate and fastener. The lower portion includes a drainage plug so that liquids within the body can be easily drained. A pair of wheels are connected by an axle and housed within wheel recesses.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR WASTE CONTAINER
A locking device for a container having a hinged lid, comprises a base unit adapted to be fixed to the container and a pivotable unit mounted to the base unit and pivotally movable between open and closed positions. The base unit includes a locking mechanism comprising a casing, a rotatable shaft, a blocking member fixed to the shaft and disposed in the casing, and a rolling member. The pivotable unit is mounted to the shaft of the base unit. The rolling member is provided to move within the casing between a blocking position wherein the rolling member blocks movement of the pivotable unit relative to the casing to prevent unauthorized opening of the lid, and a release position wherein the rolling member moves away from the blocking member to permit the movement of the blocking member relative to the casing thereby permitting opening of the lid.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR WASTE CONTAINER
The invention relates to locking devices, more particularly, gravity actuated locking devices, e.g., for waste containers. The locking device is designed to be fixed to a container and contains a gravity operated locking mechanism and a locking unit that couples the gravity operated locking mechanism to a locking bar. The locking bar allows the lid of the container to be blocked or opened depending upon the relative position of the locking bar to the lid. In the blocked position, the locking bar sits over the lid and does not allow it to be opened. In the opened position, the locking bar is removed from the lid and allows the lid to be opened. When in the container is in the upright position, the parts of the locking device cooperate to block the locking bar from being moved from the blocked position. However, when the container is tilted forward, e.g. for emptying the content of the container, gravity, acting on the parts of the locking device, allows the locking bar to be moved to the opened position.
SELF-DUMPING DUMPSTER
The present invention relates to a self-dumping dumpster and trailer assembly particularly suitable for hauling refuse and yard waste.
Waste containment receptacle with clamp actuators
A waste receptacle for collecting waste with a carrier that allows for easy transport. The receptacle uses a closing system to manage odor, and an actuator system to open and close the closing system. The closing system has a clamping mechanism housed inside a body that can clamp a bag placed inside the body with the opening of the bag disposed about the clamping mechanism. The receptacle may also have a lid in which actuation of the actuator system causes the clamping mechanism to open and close simultaneously with the lid. The actuation system may utilize pedals that can be replaced with a hand actuator.
REFUSE CARTS WITH RETENTION CORRAL
Refuse carts and refuse cart retention systems for use in retaining refuse carts inside a corral and transporting or emptying the carts when needed. The refuse cart retention system generally includes a retention corral and at least one large refuse cart and/or at least one small refuse cart. Various mechanisms for retaining refuse carts in the retention corral include retention structures to receive a segment of a refuse cart frame, and frame protrusions connected to the retention corral that can be placed in tight contact with a cutout in the sides of the refuse carts having a geometry substantially identical to that of the frame protrusions.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONSTRUCTING STEEL GARBAGE DUMPSTERS
A method, apparatus and system is disclosed for making garbage dumpsters which includes a box comprising: a bottom panel; a back panel; a front panel; a left panel; a right panel; wherein said bottom panel; said back panel; said front panel; said left panel; and said right panel are configured so that a last remaining one of said panels can be hung on a plurality of hooks protruding from edges of two of said panels, thereby creating a container without using tools and without welding; where said container is configured to be lifted by fork portions of a vehicle.
Unitary ornamental front load containers, ornamental surrounds, and front load containers
Unitary ornamental front load containers for containing trash and/or recyclables include a container for containing the trash and/or recyclables, and an ornamental surround attached with a connector to the front load container. The attached ornamental surround defines right and left front openings aligned with right and left front pocket openings of right and left fork pockets of the container. The ornamental surround obscures from view the front sidewall, the right sidewall having the right fork pocket, the left sidewall having the left fork pocket, the rear sidewall, and the at least one hinged top of the container by an observer standing on the ground. The container and the attached ornamental surround being liftable as a unit by forks of a front loading garbage truck to empty the trash and/or the recyclables from the unitary ornamental front load container.
Aerial advertising display apparatus
An aerial advertising display apparatus includes a support base for placing on a support surface, a lift mechanism mounted on the support base and being actuatable to change the elevation of an upper end of the lift mechanism above the support surface, and an attachment mechanism supported by the upper end portion of the lift mechanism. The attachment mechanism includes a forward component attached to an advertising display mounting frame and a rearward component attached to the upper end portion of the lift mechanism. The forward and rearward components are configured to interfit with one another so as to attach with and detach from one another to correspondingly couple and decouple the advertising display mounting frame to and from the upper end portion of the lift mechanism.
