System having automated route detection and app initiation
A system is disclosed for managing waste services by a service vehicle. The system may have a locating device configured to generate a location signal, a sensor configured to generate a service signal indicative of a waste service being performed, an input device, and a controller in communication with the locating device, the sensor, and the input device. The controller may be configured to make a determination that the service vehicle has made at least one service stop based on the location and service signals, and to make a comparison of characteristics of the at least one service stop with characteristics of at least one service stop of at least one known service route. Based on the comparison, the controller may be further configured to selectively transmit the recorded characteristics offboard the service vehicle.
Smart waste device and waste tracking system
An electronic waste tracking device, process, and system to track waste from one location to another location.
Automated Collection and Scale System
This disclosure describes a collection bin for a waste collection vehicle. The collection bin includes a weighing system with a processor for measuring the weight of material collected from each waste container and associating this weight with appropriate data, such as the owner of the waste container.
METHOD FOR MANAGING GARBAGE DISPOSAL CREDIT REPORTING
Provided is a method for managing garbage disposal credit reporting. The method comprises: a smart garbage can performing online real-time marking of bagged garbage, photographing scattered garbage after it is disposed of, and a system obtaining information transmitted by the smart garbage can, after each time garbage is disposed of, the smart garbage can saving for a certain period of time the traceable information generated by the disposed garbage; when inspecting the disposed garbage, if a delivery error is discovered, the inspecting client uploading the erroneous marking information on the garbage bag and uploading the erroneous scattered garbage photograph, in order to evaluate the credit of the person who throws garbage into the garbage according to whether the information about the type of garbage disposed is correct.
METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM TO QUANTIFY WASTE AT THE BIN-LEVEL
A method includes receiving data from a device, the data includes at least a first amount of a first type of waste. The method includes comparing the data with a profile including historical waste data from a location, and sending notifications to the device based on the comparing operation. The notifications include information relating to the data and the profile. The device communicates the notifications to a user. The method may include receiving first goals from the device, and determining second goals based on community waste averages. The profile may include the first goals and the second goals. The method may include sending recommendations to the device based at least in part on the data and the profile. An exemplary device includes at least one sensor associated with a waste receptacle, which may be a computer vision imaging sensor.
Systems and method for interrogating, publishing and analyzing information related to a waste hauling vehicle
A system and method for verifying waste fulfillment events in the absence of human intervention using the input of one or more vehicle sensor inputs, one or more waste disposal cycle inputs, and GPS information to augment or supplement optical scanning technology such as RFID tags is disclosed.
Automated collection and scale system
This disclosure describes a collection bin for a waste collection vehicle. The collection bin includes a weighing system with a processor for measuring the weight of material collected from each waste container and associating this weight with appropriate data, such as the owner of the waste container.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
A sensor detects waste thrown into a trash can to obtain information about the waste, An information processing apparatus includes a controller configured to perform: obtaining information about a consumption behavior of a user from the information about the waste; and executing predetermined processing based on the information about the consumption behavior of the user. The information about the waste is information capable of identifying a first product corresponding to the waste, and the controller obtains, as the information about the consumption behavior of the user, a disposal amount of the waste corresponding to a first product, and makes, as the predetermined processing, an instruction to deliver the first product to a place corresponding to an installation place of the trash can when the disposal amount of the waste of the first product reaches a predetermined amount.
Device, system and method for the monitoring, control and optimization of a waste pickup service
A system, method and device for waste measurement for garbage truck fleets operated by waste pickup service are provided. The waste measurement device comprises one or more visible light cameras; one or more volume sensors; and a controller. The waste measurement device is deployed in front of a hopper of the garbage truck and the device is configured to measure the waste volume in the hopper using the volume sensors. The method calculates the waste volume emptied from the waste container by at least subtracting the measurement of the volume in the hopper before loading from the measurement of the volume after loading. The system manages the waste pickup services having garbage truck fleet with the waste measurement devices. The system optimizes and monitors the system operation conditioned upon the measurements provided from the waste measuring devices.
Method and apparatus for monitoring waste removal and administration
A method for a municipality to control, track, and monitor waste or refuse receptacles requires a permit for use of a waste receptacle. An issuing organization issues a permit associated with a discreet receptacle identifier. An RFID tag is provided with the permit and attached to a discreet receptacle. The RFID tag transmits a signal carrying data associated with the discreet receptacle identifier. The signal may be read by a portable reader carried by municipal personnel to record violations of municipal code associated with the use of the discreet receptacle.
