Earth appliance aerated composter unit
In accordance with example embodiments of the present disclosure, the invention provides a combination waste collection container and aerated composter for general composting and waste collection and more specifically to aerated composting and organic waste collodion. The utility of the invention can be extended to the complementary food scrap processing method known as anaerobic digestion, through specific modifications.
SIMPLIFIED SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING, STORING AND TRANSPORTING FERMENTABLE WASTE
A removable device for collecting, storing and transporting waste, comprises, in a flow direction of the waste: a device for delivering the waste, a hopper, a device for transferring the materials received in the hopper, a storage tank arranged to store the transferred materials and operating anaerobically in a storage configuration, and arranged to receive the transferred materials in a filling configuration, a device for emptying the tank, which device is arranged to empty the storage tank, the hopper being arranged to direct the waste from the delivery device to the transfer device, the transfer device being arranged to directly transfer the materials received from the hopper to the storage tank, the transfer device being at a positive pressure in the flow direction of the waste.
DISPOSAL BIN APPARATUS AND METHOD
A disposal bin includes at least one identifying sensor that captures and provides identifying information for items placed in the disposal bin as well as at least one state sensor to capture and provide state information (such as the weight of the item) for such items. A control circuit operably couples to these sensors and responds to placement of a consumable commodity container in the disposal bin by using the identifying information to identify the consumable commodity container. The control circuit then accesses a data store to obtain a fullness metric corresponding to the container (for example, a weight for the consumable commodity container when full). The control circuit then uses that fullness metric and the state information to determine a current fullness state of the container. The control circuit can then determine whether to automatically take a replacement order action based upon the current fullness state.
SEALABLE CONTAINER FOR FOOD WASTE COLLECTION
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including food waste removal system employed to eliminate food waste from trash for food permitted establishment. In one aspect, a method for evacuating food waste from a food permitted establishment includes providing a sealable container, the sealable container comprising a vessel and a lid, the vessel comprising a base portion and a vertical sidewall forming a closed bottom, an inner surface, and an open top, the inner surface having been exposed to a chemical to form a coating resistant to molecule permeation, the lid configured to form a seal preventing oxygen from entering, distributing the sealable container within the food permitted establishment, filling the vessel with the food waste, sealing the vessel with the lid to form the seal, placing the sealable container on a delivery vehicle, and removing the sealable container filled with food wastes from the food permitted establishment with the delivery vehicle.
SORTING WASTE RECEPTACLE
The sorting waste receptacle sorts and temporarily stores differing types of waste items. The sorting waste receptacle includes a hollow housing having a top wall, a bottom wall and at least one sidewall. The top wall has an opening formed therein for depositing a waste item, and a lower interior portion of the hollow housing is divided into a plurality of separate compartments, each compartment corresponding to a different type of waste. When the waste item is inserted through the opening formed in the top wall, the waste item is temporarily held within a movable chute inside the hollow housing. While in the chute, the waste item is weighed by a scale and at least one sensor determines its composition. Based on the composition of the waste item, the chute is moved above the corresponding one of the separate compartments for dispensing of the waste item therein.
ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY FLOWERPOT FOR DISPOSING GARBAGE
The present invention discloses an ecological environmentally-friendly flowerpot for disposing garbage, including an outer liner and an inner liner, wherein the inner liner is sleeved inside the outer liner, the inner liner is fixed to the inner wall of the outer liner by a plurality of connecting poles, and a sandwich layer for growing plants is formed between the inner liner and the outer liner; and the side wall of the inner liner is provided with a plurality of meshes, and the inner liner is in communication with the bottom of the outer liner. The flowerpot of the present invention can save water resources, is beneficial to garbage decomposition, and also facilitates plants in absorbing nutrients, thereby being more ecological environmentally-friendly.
Method and apparatus for organic waste collection in multi-unit residential buildings
Effective systems for separating, collecting and transferring organic waste from multi-unit residential buildings to deliver to composting centers are described which facilitate the reduction of contamination of the organic waste with non-compostable plastic bags. This is accomplished both by ensuring that the residents are constantly provided with compostable replacement bags for their kitchen caddies after each delivery of a bag by the resident to the recycling room, and through consistent marking that reminds residents of the system's requirements.
WASTE RECEPTACLE DEVICE
A waste receptacle device 101 for compacting waste 1101 comprises a container 102 for receiving a waste bag 103, a suction mechanism 201 and a heating mechanism 202. The suction mechanism extracts a fluid such as air 1103 from the interior of the waste bag so as to compact the waste bag to a compacted state. The heating mechanism applies heat 1106 to an internal cavity 105 of the container to maintain the waste bag in the compacted state. A method of compacting waste is also disclosed.
DISPOSABLE CONTAINER FOR USE IN A SINK
A disposable flexible container for installation into a sink. The sink comprises an upper opening and a bottom opening for draining, and the container respectively comprises an upper opening and a bottom opening. When installed in the sink, the walls of the container are adjacent or attached, fully or partially, to the sides of the sink, the container upper opening is fitted, fully or partially, to the sink upper opening, and the container bottom opening is fitted, fully or partially, to the sink bottom opening.
