EJECTOR FOR REFUSE VEHICLE

A refuse vehicle includes a chassis and a body assembly. The body assembly includes a series of panels configured to contain a volume of refuse therein and an ejector. The panels define a hopper volume and a storage volume. The ejector is configured to fully eject refuse from the storage volume. The ejector includes a wall at least partially defining an opening and a coupling pivotally and fixedly coupling a panel to the wall. The wall is movable within the storage volume. The panel is repositionable relative to the wall between a closed position and an open position. The panel extends at least partially across the opening when in the closed position and is angularly offset relative to the closed position when in the open position.

Grabber for a refuse vehicle

A grabber assembly includes a carriage, an adapter assembly, and a grabber arm. The adapter assembly is coupled to the carriage and includes a pin, a first member, a second member, and a sleeve. The first member is configured to receive a first end of the pin and removably fixedly couple with the first end of the pin. The second member is configured to receive a second end of the pin and removably fixedly couple with the second end of the pin. The sleeve extends co-cylindrically with the pin. The grabber arm includes a bushing. The bushing is fixedly coupled with the grabber arm and is pivotally coupled to the pin. The sleeve is positioned within a central bore of the bushing, between the bushing and the pin.

MOBILE COLLECTION SYSTEM WITH DIVERTER APPARATUS

Systems and methods are provided for collecting and distributing material. In one embodiment, a collection system comprises at least one storage compartment comprising a plurality of regions. A bin is provided for transporting material from a first environment towards the storage compartment. The system comprises a diverter, wherein the diverter is dimensioned to distribute material among the plurality of regions within the storage compartment. The diverter has a first position during use in which at least a portion of the diverter is positioned below the bin when the bin is in a raised position for emptying material, and at least a portion of the diverter is positioned above the plurality of regions in the first position during use.
