REFUSE VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEMS
A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body, a lock, a tailgate, an ejector, an actuator, and a processor. The body defines a receptacle for storing refuse. The lock is coupled to the body and is configured to releasably secure a movable tailgate. The receptacle contains the ejector. The ejector can transition from a first position that is spaced from the tailgate to a second position proximate the tailgate. The actuator is configured to transition the ejector from the first position to the second position. The processor is configured to selectively unlock the tailgate and transition the ejector from the first position to the second position in response to receiving a single input to thereby eject refuse from the receptacle without receiving multiple inputs.

Solid waste displacement system
A solid waste displacement system, more specifically a system affixed to a mobile structure (such as, for instance, a truck bed, a trailer, and the like), provided. Such a system includes a drive shaft coupled to a movable wall assembly that provides sufficient force to push solid waste from the mobile structure along the drive shaft when operated. The drive shaft may be a chain driven device or any other like mechanism that accords movement and force to the movable wall assembly for such a solid waste displacement purpose. The device as well as the method of utilizing such a device on and/or within a mobile structure are encompassed herein.

Refuse collection vehicle with improved serviceability
A collection body is designed and coordinated so that equipment and frequently serviced components can be easily accessed by any operator while also staying away from lanes of traffic. The collection body is further designed so the main hopper is substantially rectangular, so that sidewalls are continuous and support operation of ejection pushers and related component. This configuration is also coordinated with the collection hopper and other collection mechanisms, so that overall coordination of all components is efficient and effective.

Refuse hopper
A refuse hopper is disclosed which may be mounted in the bed of a pick-up truck, a flat-bed truck or on a trailer. The refuse hopper includes a horizontally disposed support frame having a rear end, a front end, a first side and a second side. A hopper is pivotally mounted on the support frame and has a front end, a rear end, a front side and a second side. The refuse hopper is selectively movable between a horizontally disposed loading position and a dumping position. A compactor plate is pivotally mounted to the hopper and is movable between an upwardly extending loading position to a refuse packing position within the hopper. The hopper has a volume of about four cubic yards.
