Containers with multiple sensors

A trashcan assembly can include a body portion, a lid portion pivotably coupled with the body portion, and a sensor assembly configured to generate a signal when an object is detected within a sensing region. The sensor assembly can include a plurality of transmitters having a first subset of transmitters and a second subset of transmitters. A transmission axis of at least one transmitter in the first subset of transmitters can be different from a transmission axis of at least one of the transmitters in the second subset of transmitters. An electronic processor can generate an electronic signal to a power-operated drive mechanism for moving the lid portion from a closed position to an open position, such as in response to the sensor assembly detecting the object.

The receptacle includes an outer body, one end of the outer body forming a base, the other end of the outer body forming a rim extending inwardly from the periphery of the outer body, and at least one inner waste containing compartment extending inwardly and downwardly from the rim. The outer body, rim and at least one inner waste containing compartment are integrally formed.

Trash Receptacle Vent Tape
20200189842 · 2020-06-18 ·

A thin, flexible polymer tape (10) with longitudinally formed grooves (12) allows a section of tape (10) to be creased into a substantially rigid profile having multiple mounting flanges (16). Pressure-sensitive adhesive (14) on the mounting flanges (16) provides a means for fastening the tape (10) to an interior surface of a trash receptacle (17) in specific fashion, thereby creating an air channel. The air channel allows atmospheric pressure to equalize the potential vacuum beneath receptacle liners due to upward pull on liners when removing them from the receptacle. The equalization of potential vacuum results in less tearing and reduced effort in removal of the liners. The tape's flat profile (11) before creasing allows it to be configured into a tightly rolled form (18), thus increasing shipment options, facilitating a more compact shipment of product, and minimizing the air volume in product shipments.

ADJUSTABLE STOPPER ASSEMBLY FOR PRESS BRAKE
20200056382 · 2020-02-20 · ·

The present disclosure provides for a reversible and adjustable stopper assembly comprised of an upper frame, L-bracket, connector portion and stopping member. The stopper can be configured to be secured to at least two main types of press brakes. The stopping portion of the stopper is also reversible, allowing for less sheet metal to be inserted into the press brake, if desired. The stopper assembly can be slid in a horizontal manner, relative to the press brake to preserve the measurement of the sheet metal from one end of the press brake to the other.

Air-ventilated trash container system
10214348 · 2019-02-26 ·

An air-ventilated trash container suitable for supporting a collapsible trash bag having an open-top hollow container body that includes an integrated sidewall joined to a closed bottom is provided. The integrated sidewall includes an upright inner sidewall configured with a plurality of upper air release orifices and a plurality of laterally spaced apart, generally vertical ribs disposed extending outwardly from the inner sidewall. The ribs define between themselves a plurality of narrow channels that extend longitudinally to provide a passage during bag installation for the escape of air trapped between the inner sidewall, during bag filling to allow the bag to fully expand, and during bag removal to prevent the formation of a vacuum that would tend to cause the retention of the bag inside the container.

CONTAINER WITH INTERCHANGEABLE LINER

The present disclosure provides for a container having an interchangeable liner. The container is comprised of a bottom portion having an aperture to receive the interchangeable liner as well as securing protrusions and stabilizing members. The securing protrusions serve to cooperate with the aperture to lock the liner within the container, whereas the stabilizing members serve to stabilize the container when a substance within the container is being mixed.

Trash container having automated replacement bag dispensing system
12110174 · 2024-10-08 ·

A trash container having an automated trash bag dispensing system which automatically deploys a replacement trash bag upon removal of a filled bag. A supply of trash bags is fed into the main trash container by a motorized roller assembly. A pair of opposing suction pads are pivotally deployed inward and suction activation attracts the opposing sides of the bag to corresponding suction pads. Retraction of the suction pads functions to expand the bag to an open configuration whereby it is suitably configured to receive trash.
