BEAR-RESISTANT WASTE DISPOSAL CONTAINERS
A bear-resistant waste disposal container comprises a bin, a handle, and a lid rotatably connected to the handle. A bin collar surrounds an upper perimeter of the bin, and a lid collar surrounds an outer perimeter of the lid. A picket extends upwardly from inside the bin, through an aperture in the lid, and through an aperture in a lid frame. A carabiner or other locking device is removably insertable through an opening in the upper portion of the picket to lock the lid in a closed position.
TRASH RECEPTACLE WITH SNAP LID CLOSURE
The invention relates to a lid mechanism, such as those for trash containers and more particularly to a lid mechanism which is operable with only one hand.
PERFORATED REFUSE BAG AND RELATED METHODS
The present invention relates to an improved perforated refuse bag inoperable of retaining fluids and therefore resistant to conducting a controlled fermentation process within the bag. Embodiments of the present invention provides a plastic bag with perforations of a particular shape, size, and distribution that renders the bag inoperable of retaining liquids but still operable of holding refuse without rupturing. The combination of the bag composition and the particular arrangement of perforations provides a durable low-cost refuse bag operable of supporting a substantial load without rupturing and inoperable of conducting a controlled fermentation process.
Methods of forming laminates
Methods for making tip bonded formed laminates are made from multiple layers of formed substrates made from films which are bonded together at the tips of their formed protrusions. Tip bonded laminates can be designed with greater resistance to bending, improved resilience to compression, and can be patterned for directionally oriented responses to tensile loads. Also, tip bonded formed laminates made from multiple layers of formed substrates can use their layered structure to provide better aesthetics as well as better physical properties such as improved puncture resistance. Tip bonded formed laminates can be configured with thicker portions and designed patterns, which are appealing to consumers. A tip bonded formed laminate can be made from two or more formed substrates and can be used instead of a single, thick, unformed, substrate, so the laminate can use about the same amount of material, while still providing surprising functional benefits.
Lawn bag and accessory
The lawn bag generally comprises a bag bottom, bag sides, and left-side and right-side flaps, each foldingly connected to one of the bag sides. The left-side and right-side flaps are each moveable from stowed positions to extended positions. The flaps in the stowed position may be positioned flat against the respective sides to which they are attached. The left-side flap and the right-side flap, when in the extended position, extends to the left and right of the bag, respectively, and are generally coplanar with a bag front side.
Self-contained and portable/mobile waste liquid collection and storage unit
A self-contained and portable/mobile waste liquid collection and storage unit is disclosed. An example embodiment includes: a self-contained and portable/mobile waste liquid collection and storage unit comprising: a waste liquid reservoir within the unit; an integrated sink with a drain; a P-trap coupled to the drain to transfer waste liquid from the sink to the waste liquid reservoir; wheels for mobility attached to a bottom of the unit; and a handle to facilitate portability of the unit.
THERMOPLASTIC BAGS WITH PHASED DEFORMATION PATTERNS
Thermoplastic bags with phased deformation patterns are described. In particular, one or more implementations comprise thermoplastic bags with ring rolling, SELFing, or other deformation patterns phased or aligned relative to the sides of the bags. The phased deformation patterns can allow for reducing or eliminating deformation patterns in areas of the thermoplastic bag in which side seals or other seals are formed. Additionally or alternatively, the phased deformation patterns can provide for zones that provide differing properties (e.g., functional or aesthetic). Such zones can vary aligned along a width of the thermoplastic bag and optionally also vary along a height of the thermoplastic bag. The differing zones can provide the thermoplastic bags with phased deformations that provide leak prevention, liquid containment, and other benefits.
Flexible pail
A flexible pail having a container that is adapted to stand upright. The container may have a flexible sheet, a cover, a base, a flap and an odor barrier. The cover may be attached to a first upper end of the flexible sheet, while the base may be attached to a second lower end of the flexible sheet. The cover may have a flap pivotably attached thereto, such that the flap is adapted to pivot between an open position and a closed position. The cover may further have an opening and an odor barrier disposed in the opening.
Drawstring trash bag
The present invention is directed to a drawstring bag comprising a first panel and a second panel. The first panel and the second panel are joined along a first side, a bottom, and a second side. The first panel and the second panel thereby define an upper opening of the bag. The drawstring bag may further comprise a wave shaped drawstring disposed within a first hem along the upper opening of the bag in the first panel and a second wave shaped drawstring disposed within a second hem along the upper opening of the bag in the second panel. Each of the wave shaped drawstrings may be out stretched prior to insertion into the corresponding hem to narrow the upper opening of the bag to provide for the bag gripping the openings of trash containers.
Ventilated Trash Bag Device
The present invention relates to a ventilated trash bag device that eliminates excess air within the device when installed within a trash receptacle. The device has at least one ventilation hole and/or ventilation tab that is preferably positioned near an opening of the device. The hole and/or tab allows excess air to leave the body of the device while it is being installed within a trash receptacle.
