A transport device includes a plurality of transport conveyors. Each of the plurality of transport conveyors includes: a plurality of receiving portions configured to receive articles; a loading portion configured to deliver articles transported by the transport conveyor and to load the articles to the automated storages; and a transport portion configured to transport articles received at the receiving portions to the plurality of loading portions. The transport portion included in each of the plurality of transport conveyors is installed such that a movement trajectory of articles transported by the transport portion does not overlap a movement trajectory of articles transported by another transport portion. A plurality of loading portions that deliver articles to the lift base of each one of the automated storages are installed at different heights.

Flow rack assemblies and methods of use

A flow rack assembly includes a support structure. A supply track assembly supported by the support structure extends in a longitudinal direction. The supply track assembly declines in elevation from a component supply location to a component pick location. A return track assembly is supported by the support structure that extends in the longitudinal direction. The return track assembly declines in elevation from the component pick location to a tray storage location. A transition support shelf is rotatably connected to the support structure at a pivot location. The transition support shelf is rotatable about the pivot location due to gravity between a component pick configuration that receives component trays from the supply track assembly and a tray transition configuration that delivers component trays to the return track assembly.

BUFFER DEVICE

The present disclosure provides for a service rack system including a service rack and one or more totes. Each of the one or more totes have a full indicator and a refill indicator. The service rack includes front, back, right, and left sides. The front side is directly opposite the back side. The service rack also includes a panel on each of the right and left sides, at least one supply rack angled towards the front side, and at least one return rack angled towards the back side. The at least one supply rack is constructed to support one or more columns of totes such that each column includes at least two totes. Each column of totes has a full state and a refill state.

Inverted Carrier Lift Device System and Method

An inverted carrier lift and method is disclosed. The inverted carrier lift includes a trolley movable along an overhead conveyor and a carrier for supporting a workpiece to undergo an assembly or manufacturing process. The carrier is movable relative to the trolley from a raised position to a lowered position by a motor engaged with a lifting mechanism on the trolley. On rotation of the motor, the carrier and supported workpiece is lowered or raised to position the workpiece in the workstation for processing. The workpiece may be disengaged by the carrier for support of the workpiece by one of many different fixtures depending on the processing. Following processing, the workpiece is re-engaged by the carrier, moved to a raised position and the trolley is transferred to a subsequent workstation.
