Embodiments provide shelves, bracket systems, automated picker robots, totes, and other features that may be used with delivery vehicle configurations that have automated cargo areas. A delivery vehicle may include a picking robot that selectively retrieves packages for delivery without requiring substantial human intervention for locating those packages. The cargo area of the delivery vehicle may further comprise a plurality of customizable shelving units that generate custom-sized shelves for packages. The shelves may include a plurality of individually movable shelf brackets having retaining members that pivot between an extended and retracted position to hold the package in place and to enable the picking robot to retrieve the package from the shelf. Another embodiment provides for a tote having a drive mechanism to hold letters so that a letter may be automatically retrieved from the cargo arear and provided at a delivery location.

STACKING STORAGE ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A STACKING STORAGE ARRANGEMENT

A stacking storage arrangement and method of operating stacking storage arrangement. The stacking storage arrangement includes multiple container receiving spaces and a loading space arranged below the container receiving spaces. A loading vehicle that is movable in the loading space includes a chassis and a container seat that is height-adjustable relative to the chassis. A holding device is arranged between each container receiving space and the loading space and a hold-open device is arranged on the chassis separately from the container seat.

A die stacker for stacking stamping dies has a supporting base, an attachment stem projecting upwardly from said base for insertion into the slot of a slotted foot of a die, and a clamp moveably mounted on said stem which can be moved into or out of clamping engagement with a slotted die foot. Several such die stackers are attached to a die to support the die in a stack or on the floor with the die spaced above the floor.

Pallet stabilizer

A pallet stabilizer formed from a paperboard blank including a central panel having opposing first and second outer longitudinal sides, and opposing first and second lateral sides. At least one beam body is defined by a body flap formed integral with the central panel and comprises a plurality of flap panels connected in series at respective panel fold lines. Two of the flap panels define longitudinally extending opposing beam sides extending transverse to a plane defined by the central panel. One of the flap panels is located distal from the central panel and is hingedly connected to each of the two flap panels defining the beam sides. A glue tab is connected to one of the beam sides and is attached in overlapping relation on the central panel, and opposing longitudinal beam edges are spaced longitudinally inward from the opposing outer longitudinal sides of the central panel.

RETAINMENT ASSEMBLY

A retainment assembly that includes a proximal retainer member that is movable between a first retracted position, a second retracted position and a deployed position, a distal retainer member that is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position. When the proximal retainer member moves from the deployed position to the first retracted position the distal retainer member does not move, and when the proximal retainer member moves from the deployed position to the second retracted position the distal retainer member moves from the deployed position to the retracted position.

CONTAINER EXTRACTION ASSEMBLY

A container extraction assembly that includes an extractor assembly and a retainer assembly. The extractor assembly includes a pull member and an extractor member. The extractor member is movable between a distal position and a proximal position and the pull member is movable between first, second third positions. Moving the pull member from the first position to the third position moves the extractor member from the distal to the proximal position. The retainer assembly includes a proximal leg member and a distal leg member that are hingedly connected to one another. The retainer assembly is movable between a deployed position, a folded position and a finish position. Moving the pull member from the first position to the second position moves the retainer assembly from the deployed to the folded position, and moving the pull member from the second position to the third position moves the retainer assembly from the folded to the finish position.
