METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RETRIEVING UNITS FROM A STORAGE SYSTEM
A load handling device is disclosed for retrieving, transporting, and delivering containers in a storage system having a grid structure formed of two substantially perpendicular sets of rails or tracks located above stacks of containers. An exemplary load handling device can include a wheel assembly, a container receiving space, and a plurality of vehicle modules. The wheel assembly can include a first set of wheels to guide movement of the load handing device in a first direction and a second set of wheels to guide movement of the load handing device in a second direction. Each of the vehicle modules can include a container lifting means arranged to lift a container into the container receiving space and each of the vehicle modules can be moveable to adjust the spacing of the containers in the load handling device.
PACKAGING MODULES FOR PACKAGING OBLONG OBJECTS FOR TRANSPORT AND STORAGE PURPOSES AND METHOD APPLYING SUCH PACKAGING MODULES
Stackable packaging modules for packaging oblong objects with a U-shaped profile made from synthetic material, formed by a horizontal bottom profile and two upright legs which can be fixed, or collapsible whereby the horizontal bottom profile along both upright long sides is provided with at least two protrusions and at least two hollow recesses in which the at least two protrusions and at least two recesses of a horizontal bottom profile of an adjoining module fit. The horizontal bottom profile is provided on the underside over the whole length with a slit-shaped recess in which a fork of a forklift truck, reach truck or side loader fits.

Container depalletizing systems and methods
Container depalletization systems and methods may include various example depalletizing stations including a frame and a plurality of fork assemblies. For example, the frame may receive a stack of containers, and the plurality of fork assemblies may engage, lift, lower, and release layers of containers from the stack of containers to downstream stations or processes. In addition, the example depalletizing stations may include transfer elevator assemblies that may receive layers of containers from the plurality of fork assemblies and transfer the layers of containers to downstream stations or processes. Further, the example depalletizing stations may include movable frames that may move between a first position, at which layers of containers may be engaged and lifted by the plurality of fork assemblies, and a second position, at which layers of containers may be lowered and released by the plurality of fork assemblies and transferred to downstream stations or processes.

Tray and magazine for handling profiles
To increase the degree of automation in the manufacture of profiles, a tray for the interim storage, the handling and the transport of profiles is proposed, comprising: a frame, and at least two carriers which are secured parallel to one another on the frame, in order to retain and/or mount respective profiles on the carriers, wherein a stop is provided, said stop being provided at one end of the carriers in the longitudinal extent thereof and/or at one end of the frame, in order to be used as a reference point for the position of the profiles. Moreover, corresponding magazines and a transport device and a processing device are proposed.

STACK STORAGE ASSEMBLY
A stack storage assembly with container stacking spaces, a charging space arranged below the container stacking spaces, and a charging vehicle movable in the charging space having a hoisting device to move a container into or out of a container stacking space. Each of the container stacking spaces has, at a lower end, a retaining device with at least one retaining element, which is movable, via an actuating device arranged on the charging vehicle, between a retaining position in which the at least one retaining element holds the container arranged in the container stacking spaces and a release position in which the container is relocated past the retaining element. The charging vehicle has at least one fixing element positionable into a fixing position to interact with the at least one retaining element located in the release position, and to hold the at least one retaining element in the release position.
