Disclosed is a parcel sorting system, it includes a main frame and a sorting tower; the main frame includes a vertically arranged spiral slide and a supporting plate horizontally arranged outside the spiral slide, and the lower end of the spiral slide is provided with a collection bag main outlet. The supporting plate is provided with a collection bag falling port facing the spiral slide; the sorting tower includes a receiving transfer device, a plurality of bagging output devices disposed below the receiving transfer device, and a tower housing disposed below the bagging output device; A plurality of sorting towers are arranged on the supporting plate around the spiral slides, and the collection bag discharge ports of each sorting tower are respectively connected to the falling ports of the collection bags of the supporting plates. The invention which greatly improves sorting efficiency compared to single-pass sorting of existing sorting systems.

Linear shuttle for container invertors in a conveyor system

A gravity conveyor guide including: a frame; a conveyor track attached to the frame at a downwardly angle for guiding a plurality of moving containers down the conveyor track along a travel path; a pair of opposing struts attached on either side of the conveyor track; a rail assembly attached to the pair of opposing struts above the conveyor track; a linear shuttle carriage slidingly attached to the rail assembly, the linear shuttle carriage having a bank of at least two container rotating devices disposed; wherein the linear shuttle carriage slides on the rail assembly to move from a first position in which one of the at least two container rotating devices is aligned with the travel path to a second position in which a second one of the at least two container rotating devices is aligned with the travel path.

Optimized shipment transfer

With respect to a transfer facility configured to optimize package transfers therethrough, a container housing packages may be delivered to a first floor of the transfer facility. The packages may be transported to consolidation stations based on destinations associated therewith. In some examples, the packages may be bound for a single destination and thus transported to a single consolidation station. In some examples, the packages may be bound for multiple destinations and thus transported to a second floor of the transfer facility for sortation. A destination and mode of transportation associated with the package may be determined at an induction station on the second floor, as well as a consolidation station associated therewith. A drive unit may insert the package into a chute for transit down a slide to the consolidation station, where it may be placed into another container for shipment to the destination via the mode of transportation.

Spiral entry chute

A spiral chute assembly for moving packages from an upper level to a lower level of sort facility includes a first slide inlet and an opposing second slide inlet opposite the first slide inlet. The first slide has an outlet that is above the second slide outlet in the spiral chute. The front walls of the first and second slides are angled in the direction of the approaching package to facilitate receiving the package while moving.

Modular chute for the transport of articles

An improved modular chute comprising a stanchion comprising a plurality of rib connection points; a plurality of rib assemblies extending from the stanchion, each of the rib assemblies comprising at least a first rib, a second rib, and a tie rod connecting the first rib to the second rib; and a lining disposed within one or more of the rib assemblies, wherein the lining comprises a plurality of lining sections.

Device for guiding and pivoting bodies

The present disclosure relates to a device for guiding and pivoting bodies via sliding the bodies through the device. The device is produced using a generative manufacturing method. A system includes at least two of the devices arranged in parallel, a conveyor device, and a control device. The control device controls the conveyor device responsive to receiving a control command and feeds bodies selectively to one of the devices. A treatment line for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers includes a process path, a preform storage unit, a preform oven of a stretch blow-molding machine, and the device arranged between the preform storage unit and the preform oven. A treatment line for PET containers includes a process path, a container closure storage unit, a closing unit for closing the PET containers, and the device arranged between the container closure storage unit and the closing unit.

Underground storage system with gravitational and buoyancy force-based package delivery

A system for dispensing packages from an underground storage facility is disclosed, more specifically to disclose systems for handling packages using gravity and buoyancy. An underground storage system comprises a storage facility and at least one open air fluid column. The storage facility has an above ground portion connected to a hollow underground portion with a bottom. A helical ramp extends from the above ground portion to the bottom of the storage facility. Devices are located adjacent to the helical ramp to dispense packages to the helical ramp. A conveyor is located at the bottom of the underground portion to receive packages from the helical ramp. An airlock is located adjacent to the bottom of the underground portion and is connected to a conveyor. Packages are discharged from the storage facility via the airlock.

A magazine for storing elements which each have a shaft and a head. The magazine includes a cylinder defining a shell surface in which is formed a helical-shaped groove. The shaft of each element to be stored can be inserted into the groove while the head of each element protrudes outward radially over the groove. The head of each element can be impacted in the peripheral direction by a suitable carrier in order to move the elements through the groove one after the other to an outlet end of the groove where the elements are ejected individually.
